So, for the baby's first birthday we are doing a donut shop theme. Thinking of hiring a dude that will provide full espresso bar with barista and waffles. We obviously will have donuts. What would you do to round out the menu? (if anything) Party starts at 11.
Me too! Plus I always worry about at least not offering something semi well rounded/ from all food groups.
If it were me, I'd do bacon and sausage, veggie quiche or frittata and a fruit salad. Plus the coffee, waffles and cake/cupcakes.
I'm assuming waffle guy has toppings?
The meat can always be frozen (even cooked) and just reheated in the oven later if you have a lot extra. Fruit would never go to waste here.
Waffle guy will have toppings. Fruit... nutella, chocolate, powdered sugar...syrup and will serve to order as many waffles as we need in the time he's hired for. There will also be donuts since it's the theme of the party. We can't not have them. Problem is the party is at a park clubhouse with no oven... just a fridge. It's very close to my house so I can make meat and bring it... but it may cool off fast...
