I went to the gym in my pajamas this morning. It was ratty old black yoga pants so it wasn't flannel pjs or something, but I felt like a schlub. I need to get some cute maternity gear.
One time with H I sprained my ankle by getting it stuck between the armrest and the passenger seat (we were in the back).
This is a much better story than "I was 7 months pregnant and having regular ol' vanilla sex with my husband in our bed." lol
I have one of these stories too, except it was at a hotel for a family wedding, and I got a little to excited and bashed my head into the metal headboard *-)
No real plans today and I'm thrilled. I would like to unpack from our trip, do laundry, go for a run, and watch the latest episode of The Affair. A nap would be awesome, too. Pumping now, and then heading downstairs for much needed coffee. Oh and I do need to hit the grocery store today because we have no food in the fridge. I have no clue what DH packed for DS's lunch!
DH leaves tomorrow for a 10 day work trip (to France, that asshole). My mom will not be around to save me. They only break I have lined up is Friday night. What should I do with myself to stay sane? I'm thinking I need to find someone who wants to get dessert fondue for dinner with me. I'd normally say drinks, but that's out this time...
I had a great day off with M Yesterday. It is hard to be back today. Apparently, my students had a rough day yesterday, so this morning was spent touching base and putting out fires

Sitting at the gym watching the baby sleep while L plays in child care. It will be time for lunch and then nap when we get home! It's overcast/rainy today though so no playing outside after naps. Boo. I might stick L in the tub with the new tub crayons I got him. H said L's bottom was kind of funky when he woke up this morning. Ugh. I think I am going to bake some pumpkin blondies during naptime today. Yum.

Isaac had his first fall off a bed this morning. Combined with teething, I've been on my own for 3 days, I have a cold, and nobody is sleeping I about had a nervous breakdown.
It's a bruise now, not so red. He is at daycare and I am feeling awful about myself.
First level 2/3 class with my new yoga teacher last night instead of my favorite old one. She is very different but very talented. My teacher worked really hard to find the perfect replacement and it shows, I think I am really going to love practicing with the new one.
It's 2 months away, but I'm trying to figure out what to do with J over winter break. I have 3 weeks off school. I can either take him out of DC for the 3 weeks and pay(I think?) $100 (might be $50) a week, or I can drop him to 20-25 hours a week and pay $125. I was thinking of doing that and cleaning the house top to bottom and organizing all our stuff. Probably send him 8-2 M-Th and keep him home Friday, since I have him Friday's now since I don't have class. I feel like my family will judge me for that. But I don't really care what they think? MH might too, but he won't be the one home all day with our crazy toddler! Of course, this is all moot if I decide to get a part time job.
Remember I used to post that I had to drag Ben out of bed at 8:20 in order to get to work on time?
LOL. Now that kiddo has FOMO so I have to wake up at 6:20, pump, deal with Ben, get everyone downstairs for breakfast and out the door. On the one hand, why does he wake up so much earlier now? On the other hand, it's a lot less rushed if we've been hanging out for an hour already before we need to go.
And poor Ethan is just along for the ride.
Ben even walked all the way to daycare today. First time we've ever had enough time to let him walk instead of ride in the car or stroller.
I just got out of a golf outing later this week and I am so relieved. I don't even know why I agreed to go in the first place!
Tomorrow is MOVING DAY! We are like 98% packed. According to my fitbit I walked almost 9 miles/21k steps on sunday without ever leaving my 1400 sq ft house.
@mrswindycity I approve of the change Both in terms of relevance and agreement with the sentiment.

My MIL really is a saint. She watched my nephew (her daughters son) over night for the first time last night and he was up every 2-3 hours and now she's watching him all day today while watching my boys too.
