I hope you get to feeling better soon. Sounds like a perfect day to have a short day.
DH's alarm goes off at 5:30. I get up with him and make breakfast for us while he is getting ready for work. Today he got up before the alarm. I tried to go back to sleep but I couldn't. I've been up since before 5 already 1 cup of coffee into this day. Yawn.
anyastroud feel better! I've been sick for a couple weeks now and can't get rid of this so I know the feeling!
I woke up at 4 this morning, not sure why. Then I started coughing, then the cats were being obnoxious because I was awake and suddenly my alarm was going off at 6:05. I'm so sick of waking up too early! Pass the coffee over here bk1!
Morning! I didn't want to get out of bed this morning. I'm on my third cup of coffee already. I need to write a to-do list for this weekend since we have so much to do.
After work I need to stop at Walmart and I am not looking forward to that at all.
So tired... Was up until nearly 2am packing for vacation and cleaning. I mentally cannot leave a messy house. Our drier got fixed then broke again so that made it difficult to wash and organize outfits. Our jeans took 9 hours to dry yesterday. Yes, 9 hours of the drier running non stop. I'm scared to see the utility bill.
anyastroud feel better soon. Hopefully the weekend heals you!
When we moved to the new house somehow our drier broke on the trip over. THANKFULLY my MIL had replaced her washer/drier a couple months earlier when her washer died. She had kept her old drier 'just in case'. So far her old 20+year old drier has been working for us!

My parents have been using the same washer for 26 years, and it was used before they bought it! I don't think they make them like that anymore. They've gone through 3-4 driers in the same time period.
I have an Erin Condren life planner and have recently become obsessed with making stickers for it. Stickers on etsy are so expensive, so I've been watching tutorials and reading about how to make my own online. I designed a weekly set for next week and I cannot wait to print it to see if it works! I'm just waiting on my sticker paper to arrive.
We have a contract on our house! We put it on the market last Thursday. These people came and saw it like two hours after it was listed and sent a full price offer on Friday. We negotiated through the weekend and we signed their counter on Tuesday. They have to sell their house which is under contract, so hopefully the next month or so goes smoothly.
We're laying low today. Not much that needs to be done. Might take the kid and the dog for a walk later.
Yikes for your dryer and your electric bill amaranth
We had a carry-in potluck at work today. I had so much to do last night that I didn't make it to the store to get chips and dip. I also am not a chef or baker so I pulled things from our cabinets that we won't eat. My contribution today was a jar of dill pickle spears, 2 bottles of gatorade, some crackers, and a bag of pork rinds. Thankfully no one was in the room when I dropped my items off.
Today I'm expecting a package from Chewy.com containing my FIL's Christmas present. It's a "doggie sampler" for his new puppy lol. It's incredibly hard to come up with gift ideas for the ILs, so I'm taking the easy route and throwing together a bunch of treats and toys for the dog.
