I'm still a little miffed that I was called out yesterday for criticizing Berners. Read the comments under this story! And really, ANY OTHER STORY about Bernie Sanders.
"#feelthebern" has actually replaced all legitimate conversation!!
"HRC won the debate."
"Nuh uh, #feelthebern"
"Bernie Sanders' record on guns is troubling."
"You are troubling. #feelthebern"
Then I will apologise again lol. But I was honestly unaware that there was a level of crazy with the Bernie fans. I have one person on my FB feed that posted one pic of them wearing a Bernie T shirt, and thats it. Thats the total and entirety of anything I have seen or read from anyone about Bernie Sanders. Until the debate, I did not realise there was such a thing as a "Berner" meaning a crazy Bernie supporter. So from my perspective, it just seemed you were going off the rails with your annoyance at people who support Bernie Sanders. And because I like him well enough, I was like "seriously? whats your problem Heyjude?". Makes more sense now, obviously.

Fair.
I'm probably tainted by my crazy uncle who's been going off for months and months about Bernie. Some people have crazy right wing unlcles (I have a couple do those too) some have crazy left wing uncles. Lol.
In one is those threads you will find confirmation that Reddit and 4chan sent out a bat signal for the all the online polls. And other interesting tid bits.
The only thing I would say is that I can imagine the CNN thing being biased in favour of Hilary if she is getting money from them.
I don't actually think thats the case BUT all us lefties instantly jump on any R candidate who gets a boost from something which coincidentally also pays them. So its only fair to consider that possible. I do not hold CNN up as a bastion of integrity. They are not as crap as fox, sure, but still.
However, in general I just don't do conspiracy anything. I think people always talk, and the bigger the conspiracy theory, the more unlikely it becomes.
Also, I don't think either HRC of Sanders "won" because there is no real way to judge it. But HRC did a better job, and came across better. I know this because as a Bernie supporter, I was disappointed with some of his answers, and surprised at how much I liked HRC. So....yeah. On a Reeve scale, HRC did better than Bernie. I try to be as objective as possible. Bernie screwed up with the guns thing, and it was obvious. HRC screwed up with the banking thing, and it was subtle. Other than that, they both played to their respective followers. The reason I think HRC did better is because she swayed me, and if so, she would have swayed others in the Bernie camp. Perhaps Bernie swayed some HRC voters? I don't know. I can only speak for myself.
But as I said before, I am happy with either getting the nom

Interesting. It actually makes sense that Bernie would resonate with MRAs and other white men who feel disenfranchised. Hilary would never be their choice and none of the Republican candidates are "fight the power" enough.
I out the Salon article upon a Facebook and a berner is upset with me. I want to get into it, but I got stuck working late and I'm exhausted. Plus he's majorly cray.
But seriously. When salon.com calls you out for being a liberal nut, it's time to take a deep look at yourself.

It's so draining!!
I had a really long facebook "heated discussion" with a Berner friend of mine, and I feel hungover this morning. This is a guy I typically love and can rely on for backup in discussions with more conservative friends. I think it feels so draining because I am sort of feeling like maybe all those other years these guys (and it is overwhelmingly guys) were just pretending and hiding this "burn shit down" rage? It is honestly irking me that they are suddenly turning on other Democrats and saying things I'd expect to hear from Republicans. Weren't we JUST on the same side?

OMG, I have literally never seen ANY of these things. NEVER.
I have 672 FB friends. You know what I do see? A lot of Republican bullshit, including a woman I'm pretty sure is some sort of Ben Carson bot? Also, I see a ton of pro-gun memes.
Liberal paradises, I'm telling you.
Yes. It really is. To give you an idea of how liberal, our (the liberals in my area) representative was Dennis Kucinich, until he was gerrymandered out. It's like these people are going through extreme left-wing withdrawal?! I've seen almost every single one of those memes.

This is true for me too and what I get for living in a rural area in the Midwest.
