So, my 9th anniversary is coming up in two weeks. It's on a Wednesday. Currently H and I have no evenings together. I am off work on the weekends. He is off Tues/Thurs. He is in class on Tues nights till at least 10. He is off Thurs evening, but I have class till 9. I also have class on Wednesday nights.
So, H has a class instead of his regular shift on our anniversary. That means he will be home in the evening. I am supposed to have class. We have a paper due that night which is turned in electronically. If I go to class, I won't be home till nearly 10 and there will be no marking of the day (except we always exchange cards). If i skip class, I can leave work a little early and have a nice dinner out with H (we have not been out since before the start of the fall semester. August for him).
Should I be a good student and go to class? Should I skip?

How are you doing in the class? If you're doing well, and acing it, definitely skip. If you're struggling, you may want to consider going to class and finding another time to celebrate.
Unless there is either some stupid attendance policy (ie must be dying with a doctors note) or something like graded lab work that is taking place on that night (unlikely as you have mentioned it) then skip away happily.
There is not. I think we're allowed 1 or 2 absences until it starts affecting our grade.
omgzombies so far, I'm doing well. That could change as my last paper has not been graded yet, but I think I'm ok.
sushi I'm thinking about skipping my Thursday class tonight. It's a lab, though. I'm just so tired and I hate driving an hour each way to spend around 45 minutes to an hour in class!
