I think many of you saw on FB, but for those who didn't, baby boy was born on Tuesday. He is perfect, has a full head of thick brown hair, and cheeks like he is storing milk for winter.
I told you congrats on Facebook, but congrats again!!! He is beautiful. I love the pattern on his pjs peeking out.
How has the adjustment been? Care to share your birth story?
Edit: I saw your mm post, so ignore my first question. *hugs* it will get better, I promise! Once you get in a groove that works for your family things will be easier even with the exhaustion. Whether it's nursing, pumping, or formula, it will all fall into place soon and then hopefully you can look back on these few days with relief that they're over, and thanks that you toughed it out. I feel awful now for everyone including myself who gave advice for your parents to delay their visit. I hope that still works out well for you. Maybe your H can take a few more sick days or come home for lunch to give you a nap each afternoon.
Take lots of pictures. That is seriously what got me through the roughest of days-focusing on the cuteness.

amaranth - No worries! I'm honestly not sure whether having family around would be helpful or stressful at this point. I will definitely share the birth story when I have some time to type it out.
Eta - and I'm definitely taking the picture advice. I've already got about 87k pics of him looking nearly the same.

Omgggg that picture is adorable! Congrats again and *hugs*. MMM was so helpful to me when I was struggling, don't ever hesitate to post there for support!
re: your MMM post...totally normal to feel like you've ruined your life in those first days and weeks! He will be perfectly fine whichever way he is fed. You're doing great!
Congrats! ((Hugs)) having a baby is a huge adjustment. Even when you've wanted something for so long and then you finally get it, it's never what you thought it would be.
Huge hugs! Babies are SO HARD to adjust to, even if everything is going exactly as planned (does it ever, though?). No matter how you feed him, he will grow and be happy and so loved, so make sure that you give yourself the same consideration. I hope you're able to get more sleep soon! We're always here to vent to <3
wanderingenough just saw your other post. Of course now, I don't have any words of wisdom to add.....but I'm so glad that those who have been there were able to offer some advice and support. Praying you get the answers, support, energy, and rest that you need!
