I had a terrible night of sleeping and then had to get up early so I am now dragging. I think there will be extra coffee in my day.
So I don't think I mentioned this but the new PT job I got hired for a few weeks back? Yeah the guy is a total dipshit apparently and it's not going to happen. Basically he kept saying he would contact me on X day, I wouldn't hear from him, I'd contact him, he'd say "sorry! I'm busy! But I'll get back to you on X day" and round and round we went. After a few times of this exchange I just stopped reaching out. I mean, I don't want to work for someone like that but my biggest concern is that I might do work and then not get paid! I'm really disappointed though, it was going to be easy money that we could really use right now.
I'm relaxing and enjoying a pumpkin latte Old Navy is having a flash sale on flannel shirts so I'm ordering more and using my super cash! Woot woot!! I could wear plaid everyday.
I'm so tired today. I slept so well last night too.
I'm just hanging out at home this morning, waiting on a guy to come out and replace our hot water tank. We've been needing a new one for a while now and I have been procrastinating doing it forever. But I need warmer bath water so I finally called. It's actually cheaper then we thought it would be which makes me very happy.
Hanging out for a little while longer and then leaving for my OB appointment. I hope it goes pretty fast...sometimes this apt time can be a huge wait and I really don't have the energy/patience for that today. I'm also bummed that I won't get to see my coworker. I called and let her know I was sick and she can't come (she has a huge project starting on Monday that she can't be sick for). Oh well...should be a fun day regardless...I love my OB!
I'm just knocking things off my to-do list around the house today. It's rainy and I was feeling a little glum, so I thought doing something productive might help.
amaranth How are you cleaning your laminate wood floors? (since I know we have the same kind) I have been vacuuming/dust mop/spot cleaning but now that G is more mobile and eating real food I need to up how I am cleaning. Do you mop? This is my first time having laminate floors and I don't know how to clean them!

I think this should read "It's ONLY Tuesday", lol.
HoneySpider, that sucks. Like you realized, it's better you found out now and not when you were in the middle of the job and lord forbid not getting paid.
I lost my Tpass (bus and train pass), so now I have to shell out of pocket $ until I get the replacement, I'm hoping I can get reimbursed. I turned down a face-to-face interview today, I didn't like the vibe I was getting during my phone interview.
I mentioned my main drama for the day in the updates thread.
Other than that, E and I went to Target for a few things this morning, and now we're chilling at home. He's sleeping in my arms because he won't sleep in his crib.
I'm cranky at work. I had to fix another department's mistake and they are making it look like I did something wrong. Um, no, I did everything right. I just hate when people don't take responsibility and push their mistakes off on other people.
wanderingenough- I'm trying to be productive today too, but all I can think about it Shania Twain tonight. how are you doing? Any better then the last few days?
Ugh, how unfair HoneySpider. It sounds like you got out in time. FX something else pops up soon!
I booked my hair appointment. YESSS! I'll be chopping my hair tomorrow at 9AM. I'm trying out an actual Salon in my town. I hope I love my stylist since it's right across the street from me. I've never had a male cut my hair before, but he was the one who booked me so I'm kind of excited to try it out haha
HoneySpider what a jerk sorry about it not working out. So frustrating.
bk1 honestly I haven't found a magic solution yet. Thankfully M does most of his messy eating on the tile because the laminate is a bear to clean. I use a wood spot cleaner before company comes over, and vinegar and water for occasional actual scrubbing with a mop. After I scrub I dry it all down by hand with soft cloths. Sorry I'm not very helpful!
travelbug how short are you going? I love male stylists the best! Pip tomorrow!

H came home tonight with good news. He meet with his academic advisor today and only has to take 1 class next semester! He will still have to drive to school 3x a week, but at least he will have a light workload and will be home more to help with the baby. This semester is killing us both!
We're still at Disney! Except somehow a few days ago h hurt his back so he can hardly get around so we are slow moving and can't do most attractions. Oh well. I could do them but would feel bad for him. Today we did 2/3 of the food & wine fest then came back to our resort to relax. Currently H is pretty drunk so I am going to get him some food in a few and a nice strong drink for myself. He drank twice what I drank he is feeling pretty good right now.

Honestly...I'm feeling a little less isolated, but still struggling. Hopefully this haze lifts a bit soon.

I swear nothing prepares you for those first few weeks. The hormones are TERRIBLE and it's so stressful being a new parent, especially when things don't go as you planned. It will pass. Don't worry about anything else, just do what you need to do for yourself and baby. Go for a few walks, whether it's outside or just to the store. It was always an hour long process to get out of the house at that age, but it helps you get used to it too. It will get so much better once he starts sleeping for longer stretches and eating more at a time so he won't be hungry every couple hours. Lots of *hugs*!

Quick, go do the rides now while he can't feel the pain! haha.
