My cousin that went into labor at 33 weeks... she is being induced tomorrow. She will be 39 weeks. So amazing that she made it this long!
DH has been promised things at work and is just waiting around to see what happens. Things are getting better for him, but what has been promised hasn't been delivered. That place is forever a waiting game.
luv2rn4fun I want to give a shout out to how amazing you are!! You have helped me so much with sleep training advice and anything else I asked questions about. G is now putting herself down for a nap!! This has been going on a bit over a week. This was the last big hurdle I have been working on and makes things much easier. She is even teething right now (three teeth at once, poor girl) and will still do it. THANK YOU for all the help/advice/support/encouragement/everything!

bk1- So happy to hear the update on your cousin! That is very amazing that she was able to last this long! Prayers that everything goes well with her induction tomorrow! Also hope that your DH's company follows through on their promises. DH has kind of the same thing going on where he works. Should be interesting to see what happens come Jan 1.
I'm SO glad I was able to help you out! Way to go baby G!!! That is so awesome! I hope her teeth come in fast and without too much pain (C cut his first 6 all at the same time...it was crazy but he actually wasn't as bothered by it as I thought). I hope all things sleep related continue to go well! You have me pretty encouraged to drop the dream feed as soon as I'm ready (we're getting close)! I hope C responds like G!

-House is still on the market. We have found a home we would consider putting an offer in new city but we need our house in escrow first. Not much new going on, just showing as much as we can and looking at houses whenever we can.
-My mom still wants nothing to do with us. She never even responded to my last email where I basically told her how awesome I think she is and that I wish things were different. She did send an email last week requesting that I mail her keys (car and house) to her...need to find the keys and do that once I feel better.
-Still sick I'm so over this cold...I think it's officially bronchitis and I was up most of the night coughing (and trying not to cough too loud to wake up DH and C).

luv2rn4fun - thanks lady! we are getting in more of a routine, which is helping. sleep is still hard to come by, because when little man is napping i get caught up doing other things. i really need to just let some things go for now.

Yea you do. Don't worry about cleaning or dishes or anything like that. You take care of you and baby.
I think I've talked about our childcare situation about a month ago. The update is that our first choice daycare called yesterday with a spot, 3 weeks after our nanny started. Of course, because that is just our luck.
We have until 2 pm today to make a decision. DH and I asked the daycare questions, then talked to our nanny, and now we're just thinking it over. It's so hard! DH and I are checking back in at 1:15. I think I'm leaning daycare.
Hmm... - I start my new job next Monday. I am SO excited. I'll be working between the 2 about 60-65 hrs a week so I'll be posting less, but I'll try and check in as much as possible. - We had the meeting with H's counselor at his school. She basically fixed what was wrong and he has now graduated. YES. Another big step towards his fire fighting career.
1: homeschooling= still not sure when their self determined "fall break" is ending. Ugh.
2: H started his new job and likes it so far. I'll have to see when we can go visit him for lunch having him gone all day is weird though. It's so isolating to be the only adult in the house.
Update on my update: we decided to go with the daycare. We'll pay the nanny for another month so she's not screwed money-wise (which is actually in our contract). And we'll keep her as backup and date night care (she offered this as well).

wanderingenough- pooh8402 said it perfectly. Nothing else matters except you and your sweet son right now. I wasn't good at napping when C napped (never have been, although I tried later on when i really needed the sleep but between C's crappy sleep and always being woken up by a neighbor I finally gave up)...anyways, in the very early days I went to bed when C did. Even today I go to bed at 8p most nights even though I wake at 10:30 to dream feed...but it's still 2.5 hrs of sleep extra on top of the 6 I get from 11-5...it makes it manageable. You have to get rest, can't stress it enough. I ended up an exhausted mess by 4 months and i don't wish that on anyone. ((hugs)) glad you guys have a little routine going...it will only continue to get better!
My October food spending is about $400 less than it was in September. It includes groceries, restaurants/fast food, and coffee. It's still over budget in a few places, but I'm pleased with the progress we made.
Our budgeting has been ok. Much better than it has been. We've slipped a few times and bought lunch or dinner but only a few times compared to most days of the week. I've only bought one lunch in the last few weeks! I've been really trying to crack down on the random spending and I think it's going fairly well. We got our renter's credit and part of our deposit back (they charged us for way too much but I'm just not going to fight it) so our savings is back where I want it to be. I'm happy we have a little bit of a cushion again if needed!
Our spending has been awesome this month.... except I've bought a lot of clothes. I went up a size so I'm starting over and needed them but it took a hit on our spending money. Oh well.
And I meant to post earlier no family pics scheduled. The girl I always use had a family emergency. Not sure when we will get them planned but no.biggie.
We're waiting to find out our official closing date. Everything is done on our end but the appraisal for the house our sellers are buying just happened on Monday, and we obviously can't move forward with closing until they have somewhere to move out to.
amaranth Side eye to your IL's.....Glad his job is going well!!!
I've got my car in the shop from where that guy hit me. They're having to replace the entire bumper. Hope I like my rental car since I might have it for a while. Thanks All.State.
I feel like I'm doing better most days, but I'm think I'm starting to have more and more anxiety attacks so I'm not sure I'm actually doing better.
My OB called yesterday and he said that for some reason the genetics place wasn't able to test our most recent baby. I'm kinda surprised that I don't care, I'm guessing the results would have been normal like they always are. So what's the point anyways. Sigh...
And a TMI, this is the longest I've ever bled after a D&C, I'm over this already.

((hugs)) awick14. I'm sorry they weren't able to test your baby and that you are still bleeding. I hope the bleeding ends soon. Will you be seeing a specialist before TTC? Thinking of you often and praying that there are much better days ahead for you and your DH.
Our house is almost sold. We got a full price offer the day after the listing went live. They did the appraisal yesterday and the termite inspection is today. We're looking to close in about 3 weeks if everything happens on time.
luv2rn4fun- we will hold off TTC until after the specialist. We still haven't heard from them yet, but I know it can be 2-3 months to get in with them. but my OB says that if I don't have an appointment before my 6 week follow up of the D&C then he's going to redo all the testing that he can to make sure that everything is done so when I get in with the specialist it will all be fresh results.

Ugh...so frustrated for you I hope you hear from the specialist soon. It's great that your OB is willing to do the tests again. I hope you can get some answers and a good game plan moving forward.
