I don't know if it's because the girls are getting bigger or what, but omg the laundry! I now understand where the "load a day" people are coming from. We do diaper laundry three times a week, and then whenever a basket is full I do that (no color separation, gave that up!), and then sheets at least nice a week, ours in one load and the girls in another. It never ends!
My secret is a load a day lol. I kid, sort of, but OMG so much laundry. I try to do it during the week in 2-3 load runs so I'm not stuck all weekend. Ughhhj
I am a crazy person and prefer to do a few loads over a couple of days. I get in a zone and might as well keep the momentum. And bonus - I have like 50 pairs of underwear, so I only have to wash them every couple of months! :-) j/k
I started doing smaller loads so the folding doesn't become overwhelming. Even if I don't feel like I have a full load I do it otherwise the next day I have 4 baskets and everyone decides to wet the bed and change clothes 4 times that day.
In do a few loads every few days. I still have to separate though. Dh wears white button ups every day for work so we have to do those with bleach. Plus towels I wash on hot. So the remainder i split with dark and light.
It's just party of daily life like cooking or cleaning the kitchen; not a separate chore like cleaning the bathroom. We're great at getting clothes clean, just suck at folding. I would love a family closet!

I do about a load a day but I only fold twice a week. Folding and putting away is the part I hate and if I fold every load I will wander off and leave partially folded piles all over. I don't mind the washing and drying part. We have a lot of baskets in my basement.
I do a bunch loads on a couple days a week, typically Wed and Sun. I get everything washed and dried, then do all the folding, hanging and putting away at once. I take loads out of the dryer immediately and lay out shirts and bottoms so they don't wrinkle while the rest of the loads are going. I dump all the other stuff (socks, underwear, etc.) in a basket to fold while the kids play in the tub. I fold on my bed so I can see them.
The girls folded an entire basket is socks and such by themselves this week, so it may be their job now.
I'm really good at starting a load and drying a load all on the same day, but then the clean clothes sit in the laundry basket waiting to be folded and put away. I currently have a basket of kid clothes from three days ago waiting to be folded. Not sure whether to be ashamed of having unfolded laundry or the fact that I haven't needed the items in the basket.

My kids are constantly checking the dryer when they need clean clothes lol. They often check it before their closet/dresser.
I typically do: sheets & towels once a week. Dish rags and kitchen towels every 2-3 days, kids laundry once a week and DH and my laundry 1-2 times a week. It seems crazy to me but I usually end up doing 7-8 loads a week

Ugh. Laundry blows. I have no ability to stay on top of it. It piles up waiting to be washed, it piles up clean waiting to be folded and put away, and then just when I get it under control it all has to be done again.
Diapers I wash every 3 days...that's one I can manage.

I do at least two a day. Our hampers are truly always empty. Stuff goes immediately in the machine. I'm really weird about it. I'm sure this is flame worthy.

I do a load every other day. We are guilty of requesting jeans and pajamas sometimes. I usually run the washer in the afternoon, dry, and fold while watching tv.

Same here. I empty mine and DH's every day. Only the boy's hamper gets full.

Is your washing machine on the same level as your bedrooms? I have heard of a few people that do this. Ours is 3 levels down so it doesn't work for us. But if laundry was near the bedrooms/bathrooms I think it is a smart idea.
I do 3 loads every few days. I prefer to do a few loads at a time so I can flip washer to dryer, dryer to hamper and dirty in washer all at the same time. Makes me feel like it is less. Then wait till all 3 loads are dry before sorting and folding. I usually make piles on the floor for each person and then folding each persons clothes at a time.

Confession: I don't mind having the laundry backed up a little bit. My H and dd1 would wear the same clothes daily if they were clean. Letting it sit a few days means they don't wear the same outfit every day.
ETA: This is not to say I like laundry or pile it up intentionally.
