Do you all make monthly goals? I like to see what other people are trying to accomplish each month. It motivates me!
I wrote out mine in my planner last night. I'm keeping them to things I have some control over.
1. Keep personal spending to $100 for the month. 2. Workout an average of 3 times a week. 3. Lose 3-5 pounds. 4. Get down to 1 cup of coffee a day. 5. Stick to meal plan 6. Go on two date night/days. We never go anywhere anymore and I need to get out. 7. My due date was supposed to be November 20, so I am going to try not to have a meltdown that week. 8. Start Christmas shopping.
1) Start Christmas shopping. 2) Get FIL all settled into his new place. 3) Read 1-2 books 4) Don't have a mental breakdown from lack of sleep. 5) Keep up with the housework at 75%. 6) Enroll H for his firefighting physical. 7) Set up H's 401k through his current job.

Start using the treadmill. I've been good about walking outside most days of the week but now that the weather is changing I really need to motivate myself to use the treadmill.
1: Update M's new bedroom (may take longer than Nov. There's a lot of work). 2: Read two books. 3: Make H's lunches 4 days per week. 4: Initiate sex once a week. 5: Finish Christmas shopping.
6: ETA: make sure all our insurances and 401ks are set up properly through H's new job.
1. Keep up with the dishes (they seem to run away from me) 2. Meal plan every week 3. Finish Christmas shopping 4. Get a new TV (maybe on Black Friday? only online, I don't brave the stores) 5. Continue de-cluttering the house 6. Call my sister more often
suzv Thanks for starting this in advance. It will be great going into November with these in mind instead of getting to the 20th and wondering what I did with my life.

I am the worst at accomplishing goals, but here goes nothing...
-work out 10 times in addition to kickboxing -brush my dogs 4 times per week -spend 15 minutes a day de cluttering/cleaning -buy lunch one time per week or less, and only on Fridays.
Maybe we should learn from you. I feel like you may be the only winner of the group. lol.
In reality, I have basically no goals in life right now. Did I survive today? Ok. Good. Anything else causes too much anxiety!
That's honestly my problem. My list is unrealistically long so I constantly feel like a failure. Something more along the lines of 1: Keep M Alive 2: Eat 3: Do Dishes 4: Read a Book would serve me better.

Oh yes, I need to finish my book. It's due Nov 1 I think.. I need to renew it. Again. Sigh. I fail at reading! It's a good book, I just don't make that much time. Instead of reading I'm here... lol.
