I'm posting this today because h and I are taking the day off tomorrow together to go to a casino and lunch on the beach while ds is at daycare we won't stick around for the Halloween parade since toddlers only watch but we will be sending ds in his Thomas the train costume and supplying pirates booty for the class party. Good enough lol.
On Saturday, we are going to the il's for early trick or treat with ds' only cousin (close in age) and hanging out. We plan to be back to our house (we live 45 min away) by 6 to trick or treat at our neighbors and then our friends are joining us after ds is in bed to pass out candy, watch all the Jurassic park movies and BBQ! So excited!
On Sunday, it's just ds and I since h has to work all day (boo) so we will prob run errands and meet up with my bff for coffee or something.

I kind of feel like I'm failing at halloween this year. My dorothy doesn't have shoes for the school party tomorrow, nor will she because I work until 9 tonight and the mall will be closed by then. We will take the kids tot-ing Saturday night. Maybe hit a local truck or treat Friday night after dinner. I want to go eat at IHOP because they get to make scary pancakes and I don't have to cook. We still need to buy and carve pumpkins too so...yeah lots to do and no time.

DD is wearing her costume to the sitter's tomorrow and they are going on a little parade to show off their costumes to a couple neighbors. Saturday night is "Beggar's Night" (Ohio calls it Beggar's Night when you go trick or treating, it isn't always on halloween and it varies by town but my town is on Saturday). We will go out then. DD is Tinkerbell. She is freaking adorable.
Today is the "Harvest Party" at work. We can't do Halloween because some kids don't celebrate it. I dressed as a runner in the Boston Marathon because 1) I'm from Boston and 2) I wanted to wear sweatpants to work.
We went to a fall festival/trunk or treat last night. Saturday the boys have a soccer game and then just trick or treating. Sunday my ass will be on the couch watching football.

Um IHOP sounds amazing! Do it and no worries about shoes, no one will even notice!
DH took today and tomorrow off for fun. We are taking the kids TOT tonight at a nursing home. The residents line the halls and each have bowls of candy and they love seeing the kids and they have a little haunted house set up too and a party area at the end with punch and cookies.
Tomorrow night celebrating my Mom's bday. Will probably go shopping and do a lunch date with DH during the day. Sat night will go TOT at my parents, SIL/BIL (they set up a haunted house in their garage), the ILs and then back home to hand out candy and TOT in our neighborhood.
Sunday will be football and relaxation, may go to the movies.
LOVE that you guys are stopping at the nursing home my fondest Girl Scout memories are when we used to go to nursing homes at Christmas and make the residents crafts and sing and do shows.

I'm helping out with ds's school party and parade tomorrow, and dd gets to dress up in her costume for dance class (but MIL has to take her since it's at the same time as the party). We have a birthday party for our neighbor tomorrow night that is a costume party. Sat. we have soccer, and then hopefully our friends will do trick or treating with us in our neighborhood (we did theirs last year).
I'm working on my costume today and tomorrow (I'm going as a pinata and DH is the birthday kid). The kids have a sitter tomorrow while we go to a grown up Halloween party. Saturday is a costume party at Taekwondo for the kids and TOT that night. Sunday will hopefully be calm as we munch on candy and watch TWD in the evening. I'm sure it will be a Morgan flashback and I'll be pissed to not find out about you-know-who (as if anyone still doesn't know).
Today: DD had a school parade and party. Tomorrow : gymnastics party and play date in the afternoon Saturday: trick or treating with friends. The kids are making jack o lantern pizzas first. Sunday: sleep!!! I hope.
We have a Halloween party Saturday afternoon at DS's Taekwondo. Then we will trick or treat in our neighborhood for a little bit Saturday night. We usually go as soon as people start and then come back and hand out candy/ hang out with neighbors. We have no plans Friday or Sunday.
On Saturday we go to the community hall, everyone goes there, the kids play games and that's where we hand out the candy. Sunday will be a quiet, relaxing day.
Tonight we had the school Harvest festival. I lucked out and manned a ToT station all night because I signed up volunteer so DH had to do all the activities with the kids. Sucker!
Saturday were doing the games/ToT thing at the businesses in the village from 1-3 and then we'll head to the church Harvest Festival which is from 3-6. Then home.

Tonight was the school carnival. On my own. With both small people. Hold me.
Tomorrow is Halloween Family Friday at DH's gym. Hold me.
Saturday TOTing in our neighborhood for the first time (we usually go to my parents'). DS is scared of all the decorations, and DD was in tears tonight because of some scary costumes. Should be awesome!!!
Today I'm dressing up as Doc Mc Stuffins for work. I'm bummed that I can only find dd's generic dr kit. I might just be a doctor lol. Dd is dressing up for her party at preschool.
Tomorrow friends are coming over for dinner and then we will ToT around here.

We've had dinner at IHOP on Halloween for the past two years.
I have a girl's night planned tonight, so DH is on kid duty.
Tomorrow we're going to a fall festival in the afternoon and a trunk or treat in the evening. We'll take the kids TOTing at a few family members houses in between.
DD is going to be Mal, Maleficent's daughter from Descendants. The boys are going to be Yoda and an Ewok. Their costumes are adorable, but I'm not sure they're going to actually wear the headpieces.

Tonight is a Halloween party at town hall. I'm having DH pick up pizza on the way home. Tomorrow we are doing truck or treat at the library and then doing a spooky movie and snacks. Somewhere in there we are carving pumpkins.
My boys are "diggy diggy hole dwarves" because DH lets them watch it on YouTube. But they won't wear the beards so they look like elves.
