I discovered a dead mouse laying the grass by our front door. I'm so grossed out. I'm not afraid of mice, but the fact that it's dead and I have to do something about it is super gross. I asked H to dispose of it and he hasn't yet, so it looks like I'll have to put on some gloves and get a bag to dispose of it myself.
I'm hoping that some animal came last night to take it away, but I doubt it. GROSS. I'm just glad it's on the OUTSIDE of the house and not on the inside.

+o( I would see if could use a piece of cardboard to nudge the mouse into a bag so you don't actually have to pick it up. I'd still wear gloves, too. Ick.

Jules, we had a dead bird at work once and I totally thought I could just go right out and pick it up. Not so much. There was an embarrassing amount of screaming involved. It did not help that it had rained the night before and the dead bird was soaking wet.
