My office waited until yesterday to announce that today is a dress-up for Halloween day. I don't have a costume and I didn't feel well enough to try to track one down yesterday after work. I'm considering just wearing a pair of my old scrubs because... well... scrubs are comfy and I don't have anything else. That counts as a costume, right?
I'm so tired today and my students are insanely hyper already and they haven't even consumed candy yet. We have halloween parties and a parade this afternoon and then an early dismissal. I cannot wait to go home and nap.
I took some pants to get altered last night. DH takes his things to this sweet older woman who owns a shop near our house. Her English isn't that great, so I have no idea what she said to me. She may have asked to cut heart shaped holes in my pants and I would have no idea. Just smile and nod. She's so sweet though.
I just ordered a few photos on Mpix for my mom for Christmas. I could get them at Rite-Aid or something, but I'm feeling lazy. One of them is a picture of my parents from my wedding, which I meant to frame for them years ago. Oops! But now they will finally have it.

I'm starting to get really sick of shopping in stores. It seems more times than not, I have an issue with things ringing up the wrong price or coupons not scanning correctly, or both. Cashiers have no idea what to do when something isn't right - they just say "that's what the computer says." Why can't people think for themselves anymore? And if there is an issue you can't fix, call a manager over, don't make me ask you to do it. Although honestly, the managers often don't know much more. I seem to know the store policies better than they do! And then they give you attitude and make you feel like you did something wrong by asking them to you know, do things correctly.
I love CVS but they have been horrible lately - their own coupons don't work right!
