Yeah, I mean I guess I just didn't get why it was funny. All I could think of what went wrong in those poor girls lives that they would end up in a situation like that. plus, why is trafficking funny in any way shape or form? I guess I am not even conflicted, I just found it disturbing and depressing. Even if Zola's story is true, Jess has a kid and that poor kid could read one day how his mom sold herself to 20+ men in one night? It just depressed me

No, it was depressing as hell.  Some things that were said were funny, but this is was all a terrible mess.  Best case scenario, Jess was prostituting because she was scared of the pimp.  She has a daughter and left her kid to go prostitute herself in Florida with a pimp, a cuckold and a chick she met the day before?  A mess.

And she didn't see much, if any, of the money from the 20 guys because she owed money for rent. While the story was told in a humorous and light, fun manner, the events described were none of those things.

Buzzfeed was asking fans to cast the movie of this; all I can think is it should be made like The Usual Suspects where you get a bit of a reveal at the end, but you still aren't really sure if the whole thing is real or not.

The entire story made me think of SVU--like it was ten episodes all rolled into one. I was thinking "this CANNOT be real!" but then realized that terrible things like human trafficking and sex slavery exist all over and it just made me so sad.
