Vent: I got a really bad stomach bug. Throwing up all day yesterday. I had to miss my boys patent teacher conferences. Then my oldest woke up puking last night. Wahhhh.
Aw: dh went to conferences and boys boys are doing great. So proud of them.
R. I am a freak and love that Hallmark has Christmas movies on while I'm sick. Lol
Vent- my oldest is sick. He had to miss preschool yesterday and playgroup today. It's hard to get him to slow down so that he gets better. He's got chills and has a fever. Ds 2 has his usual energy and keeps trying to get his brother to play. Random- my brother drove over an hour to go to Red Lobster last weekend. Lol Aw- I made that squash soup and a bunch of other stuff since we are stuck at home. No cooking for me today! (Also, that soup came out great and I am excited for lunch!)
R: The housekeeper my mom hired is coming today and I am really looking forward to sitting down and looking at my clean house tonight. I'm going to try to ignore the 5 loads of laundry that need folding.
AW: dd1 worked so hard last night at swimming. She was actually swimming, it was just a blast to watch and she just lit up when she realized she was doing it. I am so proud of her! It was totally one of those moments when you just watch something click that you can't do for them.
V: So tired. Always tired. I have a doctor appointment today and they are checking my iron levels again, apparently I'm severely anemic. I have also been having contractions and not just of the BH variety. I'm not sure what to do about that with work so it kind of sucks. Baby needs to cook for a while longer.
R: Saw the new Bond movie last night and it was reeeeeally long. But man Daniel Craig can wear a suit well.
AW: I think I'm finally over the stomach bug. That sucked!
V: Our school district is attempting to alleviate overcrowding by redrawing boundaries and dismantling K8 schools that have finally found their footing after not even 10 years. Though our school is not overcrowded, it is a K8, so is on the chopping block. The whole thing is stressing me out, and I have no faith that the district is taking any sort of thought out approach to this. They are looking at numbers only (and not even correct numbers), and have proposed plans that break apart whole school communities and send families miles away to new schools. If the boundary change cuts us out of our current school, instead of walking half a mile to and from school with DD's best friends, we will be forced to drive two miles to an entirely new school outside of our neighborhood. And even if our boundary doesn't change, we could lose the middle grades and our entire school community changes. Sometimes I really hate this district.
R-went to panera last night and was so bummed they didn't have French onion soup but damn the cheesy broccoli soup was good! Aw-ds is starting to kind of sort of listen better lol and his behavior at daycare has been consistently better in terms of keeping hands to himself and mostly listening. V-h's work schedule from November to February is grueling. So basically during the week I have to do my one hour commute home, then pick ds up from daycare, feed him dinner and do bath/bedtime as solo parent. Oh and h can't take time off so any emergencies or illness (such as pink eye on Monday, literally 2 hours after I drove an hour to work) are all me. Hold me! V2-sorry but my other one is I had a bad pinched nerve in my upper right back a few weeks ago and it resolved but now my upper left back is tweaked. I swear it's all the driving and sitting at a desk and a 34 pound child. Ughhhh. Ibuprofen and coffee today.
