I had to check my calendar before I could fill in the day of the week. I've been writing the date as 11/5 all day.
We're changing offices at work. Just one room over but there's still a shitload of stuff to move. We were originally told we'd have at least a month to complete the move. Now it looks like we might have a few days. I'm not pleased.

I ran to Macy's at lunch and within 15 minutes had purchased two dresses for the wedding on Saturday. I couldn't decide which one I liked and they were both on sale so I just got both. (Together, they were under $65. I might just keep both of them.)

I also got these shoes from Zappos.
The second one seems very wedding - I'd go with that.
I need everything except the earrings, the taco truck print, and the nail decals. EVERYTHING ELSE.
There are approximately one million taco earrings available on etsy. I don't know why I'm surprised by this, but I am. many of them are cuter than what they posted. But I think you need these:

I don't know how my friend does it, she's a counselor for one of the Boston schools, today she posted
"Nothing like having a student come over to say how happy he was that his best friend would be arriving to the U.S. from back home only to have this same student 4 days later come and tell you his best friend was kidnapped and killed because his parents did not have ransom money"
My heart literately hurts, I just don't know how she does this day and day out.
You know how you get those random car dealership fliers, where you scratch the sticker off to get a prize at the dealership. Why was one of the prizes two shotguns. Really? Shotguns, you couldn't come up with anything better. Ugh. I mean there were other prizes, but why a shot gun, not one, but two if you win that prize.
I got such a nice surprise today, thanks in part to ChillyMcFreeze .
Last month I mentioned that I wanted to thank the college students across the street for not being assholes. Chillymcfreeze suggested I bring some baked cookies for them, which was a wonderful idea, so I did that, and they were very happy. Then on Monday I dropped by to foist our leftover Halloween candy on them.
So this afternoon the doorbell rings and the three of them are standing there with flowers!!! (rose) Also a card thanking me for making them feel "so at home"! I was so touched. Made my day! <)

Aw yay! I'm so glad it paid off! That was really nice of you and them. Good neighbors.
