K has boatloads of personality and makes me laugh every day. Plus he's pretty cute.]But he doesn't eat. For example, he ate three potato chips for dinner. Plus some water and air. And although his sleeping is better, he still thinks he needs us to go to bed and us first thing - preferably prior to 5 am.
Can we expect him to start eating and sleeping like a human anytime soon? Or should we expect more of the same for another couple years?

My kid's sleep got marginally better at 3.5-4, but he's still not the greatest sleeper. I think he just inherited being a lousy sleeper from me b/c my other 2 are great sleepers.

I had my ablation today. I'm in this weird tired/alert/sleep 10 minutes loop. DH has stepped up surprisingly well checking in on me and juggling the kids. Though from the sounds of things it's not going so hot right now getting dinner ready.
And the new subdivision behind our street chose today to start massive jack hammering operations to get through all the limestone under their home sites. Gah!

Mine will be 3 in Feb. We just started using the OK to Wake clock. DS loves it and stays quiet in his room until it turns green at 6am. I am really pleased with it.

I am pretty crappy sleeper, too.
You do learn to roll with it a bit more. Once he started sleeping in more and having a later wake up at 3ish after he dropped his nap, I could deal with the MOTN wake ups better. If say he's up in the night at least once a week, so not too shabby at all! So, just around the corner!
Frank had early release today so my mom and dad picked him up at 1130 and then we met for dinner, where Frank insisted that he try on my dad's glasses and I got these pics:
Now I'm sitting on the couch drinking wine while DH and Frank are cleaning my car - Frank's idea, lol!
An acquaintance and his wife adopted a baby. They are white and the baby is black. They keep calling her stuff like their "brown princess" or their "chocolate baby" and it makes me uncomfortable even though I don't know that it should.
Also, they were going to name her Grace but thought the name was too white so they named her Maliya (I'm not sure about the spelling but it's pronounced like President Obama's daughter's name).
I had a tooth pulled today. My mouth hurts like hell. They had to do the numbing shot on the outside of the tooth and then on the inside palate area - which hurt so so bad. And every time I put a new piece of gauze in I gag a little. Fun times.
But dh is taking care of me and made me little individual cups of jello, so that's sweet.
I'm in the ER I felt awful all day after throwing up last night so I stopped at a Walgreens clinic. I got sick again there and they said I had an elevated heart rate and I needed to go to urgent care. And when I got there, they sent me to the ER. Ugh. I just want to go home. Like home home but I would settle for hotel home and a hot shower at this point.
Ds's preschool class played with shaving cream with blue food coloring in it today. So his arms are blue up to his elbows and he smells like man. The smell is almost overpowering.
I put his porty in the tube last night since the water seems to trigger peeing, but he didn't pee in the potty. We will try again tonight though. I'm hoping once he actually pees in the potty and sees the response he gets, it will entice him to do it more.

Oh, I hate teeth stuff I got three dry sockets when I had all four wisdom teeth pulled - worst experience ever. I hope you feel better soon!

Thanks. I'm so afraid of dry socket! I'm trying to be a good girl and follow all their instructions. I have a big meeting next week and have to do a presentation, so I don't want to full around and not be all better then. I have to sleep sitting up tonight which is going to suck, I don't see much sleeping in my future.
There's a very good chance my h will spend Thanksgiving weekend with his family (8 hours away) while I stay here, alone on T-day, but with the kids Fri-Sun.
This is the year the kids spend T-day with their dad (we alternate thanksging and Christmas), but other than that day, it's my week to have them. So we can't all go to Hs family for Thanksgiving, and i have to be here Fri-Sun to be with the kids.
I can't begrudge H going to see his family, but I'm still kind of bummed about it.
jreeds - he will be 3 in March. He was a great eater until he was 18 months and then it all went to hell.
Uuuugh ds is 14mos and idk if he is becoming a crap eater or if it's just because he's sick, but the last 3 weeks have been soooooo frustrating! And he's riding at the bottom of the weight charts as it is, I can't afford for him not to eat! Ugh.
