I'm looking for light coverage and a little bit of a "glow" or dewy look without being sparkly (as I find some of the ones marked "illuminating" are). I've been using Nars Sheer Glow and Charlotte Tilbury powder. I'm thinking my sephora kabuki brush is too densely packed and deposits too much powder and makes me look too heavily made up.
I was thinking of looking at the Armani luminous Silk and the amore Pacific cushion. My cousin recommended the dior BB cream.
I'd love to hear other suggestions for foundation, powder, etc.
I've been using the Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue and love it. It covers nicely and is not sparkly at all. For powder, I use LM's Ambient Lighting palette. It has three different colors for different lighting situations. It's not sparkly either.
I like the Armani Maestro formula for foundation, and the IT brush @happybythekilowatt mentioned for powder. I use either NARS translucent setting powder or Wet and Wild Reserve Your Cabana to set.

Looking at the reviews I think this may be a bit too dry for me in the winter. Do you find that to be the case?
I like IT CC Cream and I apply it with one of their foundation brushes. You can go light or heavy with it depending on the coverage you want. I use their Bye Bye pores as a setting powder.

I adore Buxom Show Some Skin foundation and BB cream. I apply it with a beauty blender. My T zone is oily but the rest of my face can get pretty dry and it's been nice to me.
Also, if you're considering the Amore Pacific BB cushion, you may want to look at the Laneige BB Cushion at Target. Laneige is made by Amore Pacific, and u hear they're similar, but the Laneige one only comes in 2 or 3 shades.
Have you tried CT Wonderglow and Light Wonder? Th foundation is very light (not medium) coverage and applies well with fingers, brunch or bb. The finishing powder isn't too heavy if used with a big fluffy brush.

Amore Pacific only has 4 I think. I tried it today and I love the finish but the color doesn't seem quite right. I just feel kind of pasty with it on for some reason.
I think the Benefit liquid foundation is one of the most underrated products on the market. It's great. It's biggest problem is its limited shade rage so it may not suit you but it is ver pay luminizing with excellent SPF Coverage.
I think it's your brush if you think it's too dense. Switch it up to something marketed as an airbrush look. Sephora sells one that I like that's their own brand.
Or you may consider using a separate illuminator, either a liquid to add to your foundation already or a powder product.
I like Armani Luminous Silk. It's the first foundation I've re-bought in a long time. It's been settling into my pores lately, however, but I'm not sure if that's the fault of the makeup, my application, or my skin. Definitely worth checking out, though.
