Could you use Lactaid whole milk instead of the cream and more olive oil instead of the butter?

Oh I don't give up butter for anything. I'm not quite THAT bad. Honestly, I'd probably rather shit my pants than give up butter.

But the lactaid milk is a good idea, I've honestly just never used it. Now that I look at this more, it might be a small enough amount to not kill me. Thanks for the suggestion!

Use almond milk! I bake and cook with it all the time, and have found it doesn't throw the flavor any (unlike rice and coconut.
