I wish I could look forward to the weekends. These days they're worse than a week day because my husband is so busy with grad school, but M sees him home and doesn't understand why they can't play. One more month. We can do this...
Still trying to come up with something to do today. I need to get out but not spend too much money. The great dilemma.
Yesterday was a bad day. But, rather then getting too overwhelmed G and I went to my mom's so I had some help. Today is already looking better.
MIL's birthday is this weekend. I need to go to the store and buy stuff to make a cake. Saturday DH, G, me, and BIL's family are going out to her house to surprise her.
My parents are bringing dinner over tonight. The original plan was for them to watch DS while we packed. Now they'll watch him while we start to put the house back together.
Tomorrow is a baby shower for my childhood BFF. She's had kind of a rough pregnacy so I'm sure she's getting excited to get towards the end.

DH had a second interview today, fingers crossed!
Tomorrow we're going to see Seussical the Musical with a friend, then lunch and hanging out with her for awhile. I haven't seen her in almost 2 years so should be nice.
We also need to remove 2 vanities and see how the tile looks underneath, then buy 2 new vanities and faucets to be installed next weekend.

Tomorrow we're going to our friend's house for his birthday. They are providing dinner and drinks! ILs are coming to babysit after some convincing. MIL really wanted to bring him to their place but it doesn't make sense to me. I feel like there would be an unnecessary trip, including hauling the PnP and everything else over there. Plus their place isn't really accommodating for a crawling baby. I get that it's more comfortable to be in your own house but all his stuff is at home so... idk.
I forgot some awesome news we learned Monday! H's work is moving... like 2 blocks from my work! This is great! Now he can use my ramp pass and I can take the car when I'm done with work to get E so we can get back and get H and get home earlier! Plus we can meet up for lunch and stuff too. This is going to be a million times better!

Basketball game tonight!
Tomorrow is going to be a college football watching while doing work kind of day. DH has to work tomorrow night so I'm going to try and be really productive while he's gone because I've love to have a truly lazy day on Sunday.
Today we are going to Angry Orchard's orchards. They just opened about 25 minutes near us so we are going to go to the tasting room. They apparently have a few ciders only available in the tasting room that DH wants to try.
The rest of the weekend is going to be low key. DH is still in a lot of pain in his back so we are going to be home mostly all weekend. I have lots of housework to do so that's my plan. Maybe watch a few movies and snuggle on the couch.
Tomorrow I may talk him into going to our favorite winery for a picnic. It depends on how he feels.

tacocat- Did I miss something regarding your house? I'm really sorry if things aren't working out...that would be super frustrating
amaranth- Hope this next month flies by and you can start looking forward to weekends again. I can only imagine how frustrating that would be for all three of you Maybe your DH should go somewhere else to do his homework/studying...might make it easier for you and M (and him too!)!
estrellita- awesome news!! So excited for you and your DH...and jealous that this will hopefully give you guys a lot more couple quality time!
Not much going on here today. It's beautiful outside so we'll get out for a walk when C wakes up. He's still sick (pedi says cold and ear infection) as am I. Hoping we can kick this to the curb this weekend and have a much better week next week. Might go to Starbucks this afternoon before DH gets home...buy one get one free, plus my car will be warm for him to do my oil change! Win, win!
luv2rn4fun We found out yesterday that our closing that was supposed to happen on Monday isn't happening because the guy buying our buyers' house is backing out. So after not showing it for almost a month because we were under contract, we now have to try to sell it over the holidays.
Today I'm going shopping with my parents at Costco, then H and I are hoping to watch a movie tonight. I've been feeling really disconnected from him lately. Tomorrow we're going to a wedding, and Sunday will be full of cleaning and hopefully relaxing.

so many ((hugs)). That is incredibly frustrating and one of my biggest fears with all this . Praying we both sell our homes fast...so sorry this didn't work out. Maybe the buyer will have another buyer soon and it will go through next time or you will have another buyer without much work. Good luck friend!

Surprise! I got one kid at a sleep over. W always does so much better when she is by herself. W is watching inside out. DH is at work. I clocked out at work to day with 107 hours in 12 days phew! i'm having a much deserved drink while I watch my home made dog treats bake. I will report back and let you know how Dixie like them. lol who am I kidding my dog is a garbage disposal I'm sure she will like them.
@emtmissy let me know how the angry orchard is! We actually live only an hour from there and I was thinking of going!
I am sooo ready for the weekend, this week was torturous. I also feel like I'm getting sick, so I can't wait to go home and crash!
We went today and it was pretty awesome. It was crowded but the sample line did move. Plus the tour/sample is free. It's a self guided tour and at the end each person get 3 samples. They were about 5 oz samples too. Plus they had free apple cider donuts. There was 5 different hard ciders to choose from so DH and I got all 5 then doubled up on one that sounded the most interesting. I would get there early if you go. Like I said it was crowded at 1:30 and shortly after we got there they stopped letting people in for a little while. They open at 11. There are a bunch of other good wineries not far from there so you can make a day of it
