Dude. I feel so terrible guys. N got a fever on Saturday. G got it on Sunday. She is still sick, he had been fever free since Tuesday somehow, but has a bad cough. W and I got sick yesterday. I guess the perk of only being here to sleep for a few hours a day means my husband is hopefully not going to get it.
Also, I feel like a terrible mom because I did t call the dr. I figured meh cold, what can they do. But since iys Friday and she's still sick I'm calling this morning
Aw hope you all feel better soon. It's that time of year again. We had a wave of pink eye, a body rash and all of us had colds. Ugh. Speedy recovery to you all!!

I wouldn't have called the doctor either. I'm honestly amazed by all these doctors you just call. We have to go in. The nurse line will talk to you and then they will tell you to come in. It's a waste of time and I've never talked to a doctor on the phone.
Anyhow, call and see what they say. I've heard grape juice is good for building immunity so perhaps you need to drink a bit of that I'd also break out the clorox wipes and start using them. Give a pack to your dh to use too. I hope you all feel better soon!

I almost never take them to the doctor unless I think there is something a doctor will actually DO for them - for just a fever and no other symptoms, we'd wait it out. So don't feel bad! I'm sorry you guys are all sick too. It's awful

This. The nurse line always tells me to come in. I've talked to doctor on phone before under extenuating circumstances as I brought a kid in post seizure out cold because I was five minutes away from the office and didn't know wtf to do. She called pretty regularly in the following week until we were seen by a specialist/had testing done. I suppose the nurse line turns some away like if you're calling with a 99 degree temp or something.
