My H is so hard to shop for because he has very specific taste on the things he really wants. I COULD buy him an upgraded record player (he's been talking about it), but he probably already has the specs figured out himself and whatever I buy him will not match up.
Fortunately, I have some basics. Eddie Bauer t-shirts. Bodybuilding.com gift card. Burt's Bees lip balm (LOL, really!). This year I already know I'm buying him some Ray Bans. He said he'd put together a wish list, so I hope he comes through on that!
What makes the Yeti so good? I've heard of them but don't know why people like them so much over other coolers.
Because they keep things hot/cold for DAYSSSS. Well, you would think they were made of rainbows and unicorns the way my H talks about them. Seriously. His Yeti tumbler and cooler are two of his prized possessions.
My DH'S favorite gifts have been experience-esque gifts. Most recently I got him motorcycle riding lessons and I don't think I'll ever top that lol. Of course now I regret it since he now owns a motorcycle and rides it all the time but oh well. It was a good present.
The Yeti stuff is legit. We're laser engraving the tumblers for $55 and $60 depending on th size and some of our clients buy 100+. Might be hard to find, they've stopped production for 2015.
The soft sided cooler is expensive but it's the best ice chest we've ever owned. The hard ones are good too but tougher to carry.

Amen.
It's just the coldest a cooler can be ever. Like, ever.
We went to the mountains and our ice lasted for 4 days.
H loves his cooler almost as much as he loves me. Lol.

A good knife, GC to Cabelas, heated insoles for boots (DH loves his when he's hunting), bullets or broadheads, thermals, thick socks, hand warmers, a meat/cheese gift box ( I get DH'S from Cabelas)
I gave one of my kids a jerky of the month for Christmas one year (not from etsy though) and omg he loved it. Loved. It. scottyderp there are a ton of substance-of-the-months out there. Booze, ties, bacon, jerky, cheesecake. How much do you want to spend?
We got a llama for $50 when I lived at home because it's mom stepped on it's foot and didn't want it. The farmer who sold it to us didn't want to take time to bottle feed it so we did.
you've had some amazing stories lately.
I wish my life was still that interesting. lol.
We also had a pet pot bellied pig. My dad's friend bought it for us without telling my dad and brought it over to us. It lived in our house until it got to big then went to the barn. It slept under my brother's bassinet. This would have been about 22 years ago.
ETA: We had all of these animals in the house at one point but god forbid my dad allow us to have a house dog. If it had fur it belonged outside, he said. ((rolleyes))

We trailer glam-camp and keep a giant ice chest for our beer and other drinks. It usually stays outside the trailer but we have to replace the ice daily. All this yeti excitement has me excited. I think I know what I'm getting H for Xmas!
