much interest in material things? Like outdoorsy types, who work with their hands? Let's say they already have all the tools. Let's say you've bought a shirt that matches their eye color 300 times already. You want to get them something exciting and not lame. They eat meat. They drink coffee, rarely. They work a lot. HALP.

Is he into sports? I got DH tickets to an NBA basketball game last year and we made a fun date night out of it. Another year I gave him two tickets to one of his favorite stand up comics and he took one of his friends.
I like experience gifts for people who have everything/don't want anything.
Beard trimmer Flannel A goat, llama or alpaca depending on which is cheaper
We got a llama for $50 when I lived at home because it's mom stepped on it's foot and didn't want it. The farmer who sold it to us didn't want to take time to bottle feed it so we did.

Obscure items that cost more than $25 that he can use while doing his hobbies. Or brand new technology with the same price point to, again, use with his hobbies. May least this is how I would approach my BIL- practical, but still a little techy.
