I've been taking one pill a night to sleep, most nights for about three weeks. I sleep so well when I take it. It says on the bottle not to take it longer than two weeks, but I don't brake it every single night. Am I doomed? I feel like my sleep has been so shitty since I broke my ankle and can't work out that much. Before the unisom I finished off some Percocet to sleep. Just one a night.

I think they don't want you to become addicted to needing a sleep aid without consulting your doctor. I usually cannot sleep without exercise and since I've been sick it has been almost impossible to sleep. My doctor has me on ambien and I still don't sleep great. I'm going to guess you are probably fine, but it wasn't a big deal for my doctor to give me ambien so you may want to ask.
Weed. I use edibles. It's the only thing that lets me feel rested.
I have some oil. I could try that too.
My mom made me a tincture meant to be added to water or tea for expressly this purpose. I also have a vape pen and indica oil cartridge. Works like a charm!
Have you tried melatonin? Sorry you aren't getting much rest.
I take melatonin most nights. I fall asleep faster and sleep harder without feeling groggy in the morning. I'm super sensitive to Tylenol pm, nyquil, etc, I always feel gross in the morning no matter how long I sleep. I also use essential oils mostly in a diffuser.

I have been taking bendryl for a while for sleep.. including when i was pregnant.. i feel al ittle better about it now though after reading the responses
I actually think this is why I felt nauseous yesterday and today- we ran out and I didn't take it Saturday night or last night. I Amazon instant primed it earlier today so I have it tonight. Lol
I'm on a rx sleep aid (trazadone) and was really hesitant to start taking it because I didn't want to get addicted. My doc basically told me "you don't sleep without it now, so if you take it and stop and can't sleep without how is that different than the status quo?" Which I thought was a really good point.
It's what my medical marijuana prescription is actually for - I get the chocolate bars and I don't need much, probably 1/16th of a bar.
I have a card too and I use it for sleep. Have you ever tried these chewables by Stokes? If not, I recommend them because they are tiny, about the size of a Tic-Tac so they are easy to figure out dosage.
I use the middle yellow one which is an Indica, the flavor is lemon ginger. The blue one on the right is a sativa and tastes like Altoids. The one on the far left is watermellon and an indica, but I'm not a fan of the flavor because it has a weird after taste. Anyway, the indica ones are great for sleep, I take two about an hour before bed.

All of you saying you've taken it forever and have no ill effects worry me. I would say that if you really feel you need a sleep aid to at least try something more natural. Melatonin, Magnesium, poppy tinctures all work incredibly well. I struggle with anxiety induced insomnia, it's an ongoing struggle I have had all of my life. If you're requiring a pharmaceutical (OTC or not) to sleep every night for an extended period of time, I hope you try to figure out the underlying issue. (I know OP said lack of exercise, I just mean a general you of PP's).
