I'd go see them! And the State Fair is such a fun concert venue. We saw The Avett Brothers there last year (my first concert there in years) and it was great!
This makes me very excited! I saw them a few months after they made their anti-Bush remarks. The show was amazing. The crowd in Oklahoma was surprisingly sold out and nice to them. No booing, etc. The closest they'll be to me on this tour is Dallas, but I may need to make that happen.

I saw them in the same time period. It was a great show! But I do like country music (I know that makes me embarrassing lol). Country artists are typically so grateful for their fans and the artists always have such great energy.
Yippee! They are coming here too when I saw them last they only played the huge arena an hour and a half away, but this time they are going to be at a smaller local venue.
Ok one more question, are they putting out new music? Taking the Long Way was 2006 (shit I am old). I am curious what the concert demographic will be like.

toledo actually gave us a great PSA in that old thread about country music. I learned that hearing damage isn't the only reason to wear earplugs at a country music concert.

This is the best news I've heard all week! I saw them on the Taking the Long Road tour and a couple years after that with the Eagles in LA. They are awesome.
