Can be very normal in the winter because the heat makes it drier. We use humidifiers & I'll put aquaphor or something around/in it. My oldest had 3-4 within a few days last year.
My daughter gets nosebleeds on the regular (probably 3-4 times a month, more in the winter). Pedi says it's nothing to worry about and at this point (she's 6) she just handles it by herself and goes about her day.

Yes very common and normal for small amounts of dried blood, esp. in winter as pp's said. And if they pick at it (because the dried blood gets all crusty) that can make it worse. Humidifiers, saline spray in the nose if you really feel like torturing your kid and yourself for a small amount of relief, and vaseline on the outer area of the nose can all help.
As long as it's not like actively dripping blood I wouldn't worry though.

My middle DD also gets nosebleeds regularly. Very common in some kids. She gets them more frequently in winter but still gets them occasionally in summer.
Hers are of the gushing blood everywhere variety. She can feel them and takes care of them herself (she's 11).

Yup. It weirds people out sometimes when her nose is gushing blood and she's all, "no, it's fine. Just get me some tissues please."

Yep, if you're going to be a "nose bleeder," you get used to it pretty quick. DH has the same issue off and on and he has come home from a run many a time with blood dripping down his face. Crazy man.
