Do most circuses involve animals these days? The few I've been too in the last 20 years were just people. Sometimes really low rent family affairs, sometimes nicer. But no animals.
It was at a circus when I discovered my hatred of cotton candy. I ate some, but decided I didn't like it. My hands were so sticky and dad wouldn't let me go to the bathroom to wash my hands because it was so crowded.
I've been to one circus in my life(I was a teenager), and I don't even remember animals. Maybe they had goats? I dunno, it was at the fair in the rinky dink town next door. I do remember they had the hairy men.
"Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you've got a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies-"God damn it, you've got to be kind.”
Nope. Some friends tried to get us to go recently and we said no. When they pressed, I told them it was because of the treatment of animals and they had no clue.
