I took today off and sent the kids to daycare
It's not a super exciting day, but a good mix I think. Bright and early dh took the girls and I out for coffee and the. I hit the gym to sit on a bike and read for a bit I've decided that will suffice for exercise at this point. Although if the sun stays out I may walk the dog down the street a bit. I'm almost done with our annual photo album so I plan on finishing that while the brakes and oil are changed. I am then taking myself out to lunch and participating in a market research study. While I'm gone the kitchen and baths are getting cleaned (yay cleaning lady!).
AW - C is ranked in Taekwondo for our state! 5th in traditional weapons, 4th in XMA weapons, 5th in creative weapons and 3rd in XMA forms! I'm so proud of her. If she keeps it up, we'll be going to state and district championships.
Vent - this sport is expensive. New uniforms are going to run me $300. That's 2 uniforms with patches and lettering. Yikes!
Random - i tried almond milk in my cereal and it's pretty good.
I'm all vents today-see my other post. Man cold and daycare roulette since ds *might* have a baby man cold. Fml.
I was planning to work from home on Friday but if I miss today or tomorrow because ds is sick, I won't be able to. Ugh.
And h is still in the middle of his awful work schedule so I am solo parent after work mon-fri and he can't take time off if ds is sick so it all falls on me.

@itsbritt - That stinks. I'm sorry for your man colds and insane DH schedule. I've been there and you have my sorries. dizzycooks - That sounds like a fantastic day.
AW: A local kids' store is going to stock my sandwich wraps, snack bags, and kids' aprons. I'm psyched! R: I have to make a dozen of each by Friday. V: I was up late and am very, very tired and have had to nix coffee...these are the days herbal tea just does not cut it. Chai doesn't count as coffee, right?
It's our anniversary today so while I was grocery shopping I bought the most delicious pastries. I was going to wait for DH to wake up so we could eat them but I couldn't help myself. So I put one on a plate and left it on his nightstand with a card lol
Last night at the boys' soccer party I had a conversation with their coach about how DS2 "took a lot of balls to the head". The context was appropriate but it was still hilarious.
And yes, they both got a participation trophy. They did play their little butts off and totally earned them.
R: my little baby 3 month old just had his first swim lesson today
V: we've got a lot of stuff on the calendar the next few weeks - mostly stuff for DH and its making me anxious because I have to leave the baby a lot. And while I'm out I have to pump which is oh so fun at fancy events and trying to manuever my boobs out of fancy outfits usually hiding out in random kitchens or offices.
Aw: a local pizza place is donating 10% of their sales today to DS1s school so I just ordered pizzas, meatballs, and Brussels sprouts salad all to be delivered for dinner

Our school had the same kind of pizza fundraiser yesterday, and it was awesome. Delicious dinner delivered to the door.
