I have three 9 year olds to buy Christmas presents for. One boy and twin girls. We see them once or twice a year. Last time the boy was into legos and the girls were into science type projects and Harry Potter.
TIA.
Also, thank you for the lunch box recommendations from a few weeks ago. I ordered the Pottery Barn Kids monogrammed lunch boxes and they turned out great.

My 10 year old is really intrigued with 3d pens this year. They now have disposable ones for cheap (ido3d). He also wants a solder iron, but don't know how many other kids do. Magic kits, building kits with motors, drawing pads, painting figures,

dd1 is almost 9. Shopkins are still big with her and literally anything in Justice. I just got her a GC to Justice for her birthday at her request, that is all she wants
My 8 year old granddaughter loves HP too, I found a cool letter on etsy. Its an acceptance letter into Hogwarts and they write it to your child, its really cool. Also, when DD was in London on the HP tour she brought her back a school scarf, you can order them online too.
My son will be 9 in a couple of weeks and he's on his 3rd Harry Potter book. We're watching the movies after he finishes each book. He also likes those "I Survived" books. He loves all the MN sports teams and Under Armour (or any brand really) athletic clothes. He's also just getting into Star Wars.
Aye, those reviews don't look all that great. S1 saw the commercial and when I looked them up on TRU, they didn't have any reviews yet.
We plan on going with a motorized refillable pen for him since I've seen them for ~50, but I don't know that I'll continue to mention the lower cost disposables

Do you have the link for the acceptance letter? I think my daughter would love this!
Hope this works, I've never tried to add a link before...

Yeah, I saw that and was coming back to say that I had canceled my order!
I know one who is really into dirt bikes and motocross, so I'm getting him his own racing jersey. Last year I got him some medium nice headphones with use when playing his handheld game (whatever that thing is). Oops, sorry to make that all about me.
For the girls, I know it seems a little young, but Taylor Swift seems to be the thing right now, so any kind of Swiftie shirt or hoodie would probably go over well. And what about coloring pencils and markers? I loved those as a kid. OMG, I really loved my spirograph!!

Fairy tales do not tell children the dragons exist. Children already know that dragons exist. Fairy tales tell children the dragons can be killed. - G. K. Chesterton
My 9-year-old niece wants a wand. She's getting a time turner from her other aunt. It's all about Harry Potter. I have no idea what I'm doing for her brother, who is 8.
