What else at the Thanksgiving table?

DH's mom had surgery last week and wants to host in her new house but doesn't want a large group. So it's just going to be her, SIL, SIL's boyfriend, DH, DD and I. The small low key group will actually be really, really nice.

MIL and SIL are making/bringing:

Turkey
Potatoes (mashed I'm assuming??)
Stuffing
roasted asparagus
cheesy potato dish (not sure why another potato dish but whatever)

I'm the last to reply so I need to fill in the gaps. I always bring dessert so me making and bringing 2 pies is a given. What other sides for the main meal though?

Sweet potatoes came to mind, but maybe not if you're already having 2 other potato dishes.

Good idea!! They'll all be drinking wine but I'm going to pick up sparkling cider for DD and I! Great idea!
