DD has her own opinion about what she wears. I think we're getting close to where I can't even buy clothes without her approval first. So make it your hobby while you still can!

Yes. And I wish I would have done more of it before DD had an opinion because now she's insisting on wearing hideous clothes from my parents/ILs to special occasions, so I have to bribe her heavily to get her to wear cute stuff.
Yes, for DD. Dressing DS is a chore though because boy clothes are ugly and boring.
I am already unimpressed with boy clothes and DS is only 6 weeks old. Everything is stripes or animals. Snooze.
I love buying clothes for DD. I don't purchase the most expensive stuff (most of her clothes are just from Old Navy, Carters, or Target), but she always looks cute and has a great wardrobe as a whole.
Cute stuff preppy! DS has gotten picky about his clothes, it's "GOT TO BE SOFT MOMMY!" So I'm so glad I have DD to dress I've got several cute casual Christmas outfits already!
Um yes! DD is so much more fun to dress than DS. I love bows, Mocs, leggings, and dresses. She has a ton of FP Mocs from a Facebook BST board.
I got a bunting similar to your Nordstrom BST find at Hanna for 40% off. I can't wait for cold weather (relative statement) so she can wear it.
I love her FP Mocs but with our weather her zutano booties are just warmer:( I can't wait to get her more I the spring. Headbands are also so fun, baby bling from Nordstrom are the only ones she lets me keep on her.
Sure, it was fun. Until she developed Strong Toddler Opinions. lol
Now I find myself buying "Hello Kittycat" shoes and being really happy because she loves them with her watermelon leggings and Buzz Lightyear tshirt. I love how happy and proud of herself she is. <3

I still love to browse clothes online for my seven year old DD, but I don't buy anything except maybe a $5 pair of leggings without getting her approval first because her opinion of what is and is not acceptable changes monthly if not weekly or daily.
My three year old DS has a good quantity of clothes but nowhere near the overabundance of my DD. Boy clothes just aren't as exciting to me.
Enjoy it now. Because one day they'll be teens and you'll be sad because you'll simultaneously think their clothes are ugly, and be in denial that they're wearing the same styles you wore when you were in HS.
I think I may have had my kids late enough in life that by the time my kids are in high school, the kids will be wearing stuff that was popular for teenagers when I was in my 20s.

No, not at all. I mean, I like them to have clothes I think are cute, but if one of their grandmothers buys them fancy dresses for Christmas or Easter, my only thought is, "awesome! Money I don't have to spend."
Both my girls also had very strong opinions about what they wore starting very young.
Oh yes. DD's wardrobe is insane. I need to start selling some of it but I'm keeping some of her first Lilly pieces.
I have 3 Lilly dresses and a Vineyard Vines dress ready for summer!
I have a problem.
Also if you are selling let me know, lol.
I love that he baby Lilly can be worn as a dress one summer and a top the next. Now that she's in the toddler sizes they aren't as versatile like that!
I will! It's a lot of mini boden, maybe some Florence Eiseman, and some baby gap.

Yep. My child has her own style and is proud of it. I'm glad she dresses herself. Some friends of mine still set out the clothes for their grade schooler. Not for me.
