PDQ
My aunt is honestly a miracle. Her catheter in her head kept clogging but they finally got that working well and draining. Her infection number is down and she is breathing on her own 100%. The day after surgery she took 2 breaths by herself but she had to be told to. Now she is able to open her eyes, squeeze our hand, shake and nod her head. She still has her breathing tube in but they are waiting to remove it for now. Her neurosurgeon is thinking one day this week they can put a shunt back in place so she'll be in the hospital another week at least. Her doctors and nurses are completely amazed at her progress in the last 24 hours, as am I. Thank you all for everything.

I'm so sorry. That sounds like a very stressful day and you sound like you are very close to her. You obviously care about her very much and I'm sure she knows that whether she could respond or not.
I'm so sorry. I know how it is to lose family members pretty close to each other. I'll pray for your aunt & you. Make sure you are eating & sleeping enough as well.
Oh my gosh, I am so sorry for you and your family. My heart hurts that you're going through this. Sending good vibes and hope that we here can offer you comfort and support during this difficult time. And I'm sorry that you have already been through so much.
