Does your h know about every pg test?

I got in trouble today because h found a pregnancy test in the trash. He thought I was "hiding" it, when in fact I just didn't think twice. My period was like a few days late and though I was paranoid, I didn't really think I was pg so I didn't bother telling him.

So - does your h know every time you POAS?

I was going to say no, because I have taken negative tests and didn't plan on telling him, but I always end up fessing up later that day.

Lol, no. I think I've only told him about the two positive ones.

I took an internet cheapie this morning because like you, I was paranoid even though the likelihood of a positive was basically zero. He doesn't know.

Nope. I tested like a crazy person with J and it took 14 mos to get pregnsnt witH him.

With the girls yes, but thats because the super crazy person middle of the day test at like 8dpo the first month trying was positive!!! As were the next 5 I took for good measure lol.

Yes, but I've only ever taken one negative test. I've never taken a test when not TTC.

No. I told him about every one when we were TTC, but not the random "I feel nauseous and my period is two days late" tests.

I was wrong, 4 tests. DH made me take one a week after my positive to make sure it was still positive. LOL

Your DH was under the assumption that you are not pregnant and you took a test that confirms that you are not pregnant. How exactly is that hiding something?  ^o)

Omg, no. When we first started TTC, way back in the dinosaur age (2007), he didn't want me to test if he wasn't home. Because we both thought that I would only test after missing a period and that missing a period had to mean a BFP. How quickly we both realized our error.



Eta: and I'm not sure what this "I never test outside of TTC" is supposed to mean. That you are super confident about your chosen form of birth control? That your period is extremely regular? That you don't experience anxiety at the drop of a hat? I can't say I fall into any of these categories, particularly when my period didn't return for 15 months after having DD.

So my surprise bfp was a super shock to him. I told him to go look in the bathroom with crazy eyes and he was like "what? Is the sink or toilet clogged?

I think I took about 7 per cycle (7DPO-14 DPO), which totals about 150 tests....plus the many days I swore I could see the faintest shadow of something and took more than one....plus when I took about 10 more tests after my BFP because seeing two lines was so much fun...so no.

Hahahha. Nope. I took one this week and he's had a vasectomy. I thought my period had returned last month and by my calculations should have come this week. BFing is probably just messing with me. I was afraid the V had failed.

No, I have crazy cycles, and while we were dating I would get nervous and test (even though I was on birth control and we used condoms every time). I never told him about those tests, because I didn't want him to think I was crazy.

Good point. I think he just had a panic attack because he probably didn't know how to read it (even though the instructions are right there, lol).

Also he thought I made a conscious effort to go out and buy a test and didn't tell him. He relaxed a little when I informed him I had a stash.

Lol. No. I have PCOS, and in between my kids, I was BFing and charting, which was not super helpful except to date my pregnancy with DS, but I tested every week or two just in case. Thank you, wondfo.

Not now, but probably yes while ttc. I am very irregular so I test every 3 months just to be sure I'm not pg. I don't tell him about those, but he knows I test every once in a while.

I've never tested outside of TTC because my cycle was extremely regular before that.

I think he knows about all of them while TTC because I was always upset about the negatives and would end up saying something like "it didn't happen this month". I told him about he positives right away.
