Tonight DH's shift at his job has a holiday dinner so I am driving him to that. His coworkers miss him so I told him I would drive him, he can't drive that far yet.
Thanksgiving I have to work but my mom is having dinner late. She is so excited to have people other then us over lol. A few friends from the fire house are coming over for thanksgiving round 2 since dinner isn't until 8pm.
We usually go out for Black Friday but this year we only plan on going out for an early breakfast at IHOP to use my free pancakes coupon for my birthday. Then we are going to decorate the house for Christmas.
Saturday I may start my Christmas gifts for our yearly gifts for the officers of the fire house.
Wednesday- H took a vacation day to hang with me and the pups.
Thursday H and I are starting a tradition of having Chinese food for dinner. (We celebrated with his family on Saturday. My parents are out of town this week.) My one sister is joining is so she doesn't have to spend the holiday alone.
Pretty much just Thanksgiving. We are going to my parents Wed night and coming back whenever we're done at my cousin's. Looks like there might be snow in the forecast. I really hope not! I don't want to get back too late since I work Fri!
grover my work partner and I were going to start that tradition last year (we've worked together the last 3 thanksgivings) and both Chinese restaurant that were local were closed. We were so upset.
Dr for DS today, coffee with a friend tomorrow, Dr for me on Wednesday, low key thanksgiving, going to put up our Christmas decorations, getting my car serviced on Friday, Friendsgiving Saturday, seeing DH's cousin on Sunday.
Fun stuff? My sisters visit tomorrow! Thanksgiving of course, and apparently now there's an after thanksgiving party on Friday. Lol. So, basically two feasts. I'm trying to visualize my outfits. Do other people try to prepare special outfits on the holidays?
I guess I'll just write my to do list here because I needed to organize my thoughts anyway. 1: Target returns 2: Grocery shopping 3: Laundry 4: Second and third coat of paint on bedroom trim 5: Errands and Christmas shopping at hobby lobby, home goods, and 6: Maybe paint bedroom ceiling, or con H into doing it
Food!!! I can't wait to cook and eat! We are having my mom and her BF, my uncle, and my brother for Thanksgiving dinner.
It's supposed to be 70 degrees on Friday so I'm hoping to get some yard work done then. DH raked a ton of leaves this past weekend, now I need to clean up the garden beds and do the detail work.
Sat night is my works Christmas party. I'm kinda excited about it, I'm going with a couple coworkers. DH isn't coming this year he is going hunting instead.

Doctors appt for R and errands today. I'm also going to try and decorate the tree and workout tonight.
H is at work today and then off the rest of the week! His parents and little sis get in town Wed for Thanksgiving. It'll be a quick trip though as they are leaving Friday morning. That whole thing wasn't without it's planning drama, per usual. I need to tidy up tomorrow for their visit.
I'm going to try and schedule a haircut for Wednesday and will pick up some pies for Thanksgiving.

We had breakfast with my parents this morning and then they got ready and left town a little before lunch.
Tomorrow we fly to Chicago and we're coming home late Friday night. Not sure what's on the agenda besides obviously Thanksgiving (YUM! My favorite holiday!) and Lou Malnati's....Lou's is ALWAYS on the agenda when we go to Chicago!

Just Thanksgiving here and I'm not even looking forward to it. We're leaving for the ILs on Thurs morning and staying til Sunday sometime. It's a 4 hr drive normally (who knows how long with C). I'm okay seeing them for a few hours but 3 days with them is entirely way too much. I'm already looking forward to being home Sunday afternoon. On the brighter side...my aunt, uncle, and cousin and his family will all be in the same city (visiting my uncle's parents) and we might get together for a little bit...that will be nice! And C will get to hang out with his grandparents, great grandma, and meet his great aunt for the first time (she lives in Georgia and is out for Thanksgiving).
Other than that I need to pack and have our house cleaned and "show ready" in case someone comes to look at our house while we're OOT (doubtful...we haven't had a showing in over 2 wks now and our realtor doesn't expect much activity this week with it being Thanksgiving).
DH just works today and tomorrow then will be home the rest of the week. So excited.
Thursday - Thanksgiving at my mom's Friday - shopping with mom, easy afternoon at home Saturday - thanksgiving at in laws Sunday - niece's birthday party
Hoping to get house cleaned up and all my craft stuff moved to the laundry room so we can set up the tree in the dining room.
Monday: H took today off because his vacation days won't roll over this year, and I'm going to make cookies soon. H and I had mid-day sex while Milo was napping! It was great, that's my preferred time for sex, but we rarely get to anymore. Tonight we have Bible study.
Thursday: my grandma and aunt and uncle are coming for Thanksgiving, and I'll probably hang out with them while everyone else is at work/school.
Just Thanksgiving here. Because we drove down for a family get-together this weekend, the family all excused us from making the 3 hour drive both ways again for Thanksgiving. I appreciate them being OK as we have a lot to do around the house over the next few weeks. But it makes me homesick thinking of not being surrounded by a 15 people and a bunch of food. DH is thrilled LOL So we'll be doing Thanksgiving for 2 on Thursday.
He wants to do a big shopping day for Christmas presents and other fun items. I've convinced him we should go out around lunch time on black Friday. Hoping everyone got the midnight-6a shopping done and went home to sleep after that. We could do it later that weekend, but we have some other items planned.

work! Kids are out of school this week I will work all week long. Our office is not open Thursday or Friday. I have a lot of catching up to do. Any hours worked Thursday and Friday are double time, so yeah I will work a couple hours both days.
