Is it really as easy as it sounds? I could order 5 for about $15 on Etsy. Should I just do that?? I could also buy them individually for a little cheaper. I wouldn't spend more than $20 on them if I bought them. Do I attempt to make them for DD's room or should I just buy them?
I made them, but using cupcake liners instead. They're "stiffer." It's easy, just time consuming. Mine have lasted for 5 yeras now, though some liners fall out if there wasn't enough glue.
I bought a Martha Stewart kit from Micheal's. I think it had like 8 pom poms. Maybe it will be cheaper than etsy, especially with 50% off coupons they have all the time.

Did they have multiple colors? I want pink, blue and green (maybe purple too or instead of green).
My SIL asked me to make some for her baby shower. It took me a couple to get the hang of it but I didn't think they were hard and it didn't take long (obviously because she asked me to do this like two hours before the shower)
Wait. Are they shipping them to you unfluffed? The fluffing part is that part that I hate because I always rip them.
Yes, they come Flat and cut, but with a strong already attached. I would have to fluff them and then obviously hang them.
Yeah, not worth it then IMO. The fluffing is the worst part and where you're most likely to rip them. I've made a ton of these for different things and they're not hard, but you have to be careful and go slow when you're fluffing. I'd DIY.

I made them roughly 4 years ago for a shower. I bought the tissue paper in bulk ($25 for well over a thousand sheets (big sheets!) I still use that leftover to this day for stuffing gift bags lol.
Overall it's not that bad. I had a long arm stapler that allowed me to place the staple right in the middle without taking up to much room and allowed for a nice full fluff. It also kept everything secure. The tedious part is fluffing and is a bit of a delicate process. Overall though it wasn't bad. I would do it the same way again as I didn't mind having the leftover tissue or time spent. It's entirely up to you.

Oh using a long arm stapler is a thought if I DIY. I can borrow one from school. Did you attach the string after then?

I loved using the long arm I didn't have to worry about the width of the staple taking up space. I also found it handled the amount of tissue paper far better than a desktop stapler.
I placed the string then stapled so that I didn't have to worry if the stable was too tight to get the string on.
I found a tutorial on pinterest. I bought tissue paper from walmart for $1 each. Handed them to my mom and she made them. So I'd say they were easy She's crafty and said they were a piece of cake.

Yes! Party City has tons and tons of colors. They're in their own aisle with other paper decorations. And they're like $3. Still frustrating, but less so than starting from scratch.
