What are all of you getting for the geeks in your life? I'm having a hard time figuring out what I'm doing this year. This guy gets loot crate and nerd box every month, which I feel like cuts out a lot of silly gift options, lol. So inspire me!
My best friend is a bit of a tomboy, and when we were in high school, we had a tradition that we'd buy each other clothes that the other wouldn't buy for herself. I would buy her dresses, and she'd buy me Vans and hoodies. She wears more dresses now, but I decided to nod to that old tradition along with our mutual Zelda love and got her this dress:
These are stuck in the US thanks to ridiculous customs limits and high shipping costs, so they will have to wait until next Christmas, but I went on a mini shopping spree today:
My boyfriend hates dressing up, so I bought him a TIE fighter tie to encourage him (And I love the pun!):
H actually isn't getting much geeky stuff from me this year. All I've grabbed for him is Sushi Go and the Resistance.
I'm getting my work secret santa the Wytches comic along with a bookmark featuring a few of his favorite marvel ladies and another friend is getting a Nightmare Before Christmas version of Munchkin.
Thank you all for the suggestions, it helped get my creative powers flowing...I ended up going with a Marvel theme gift 1) Sheets - I know, sounds boring, but this guy has been talking about needing new sheets. I really wanted to find some geeky-chic adult sheets, but I didn't really find any that fit my criteria, so I decided to buy this fabric and I am making pillowcases out of it and will buy corresponding grey sheets. So still kind of fun, but mostly fit for a grown man, lol.
2 - I also bought him the Marvel Character Encyclopedia. He knows a lot of them already, but this looks like a fun coffee table type book. I wanted to get him some comics, but I have no idea what is on his list/what he already owns, so I felt this was a little safer.
3 - Sketchbook - Not really Marvel themed, but he is an artist, but has said sometimes he has a hard time with mental blocks, so this sketchbook comes with silly prompts. I hope he likes it, but this one is a little hit or miss.
Anyways - Thanks again for the suggestions! I am super excited to give these to this dude. I love Christmas!

What size bed? Target had some super-cute comic book sheets when I was there today, but I think they're only in twin and full.

That was the issue I was running into...apparently bedding makers think only people with small beds want fun sheets. I did find some duvets/comforters in a queen size, but sheets man...not so much. LOL
