@starry, hate to say it but the constant pooping was what led us to investigate mpi.
Yesterday I prepped mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, appetizers, made pumpkin cheesecake, pie crust, and made the stock for gravy. All I have to do tomorrow is cook the turkey and make apple pie!
I already know I'm not going to be able to focus today. Looks like I'll be finishing Bird Box (so good if you haven't read it!) and spending a lot of time here.
DS1 just saw me pumping and is fascinated. He asked if he could try next.
My kids walk in on me pumping all the time. They like to think my tatas are racing because one produces more than the other. They like to watch to see which one is going to win.
We all slept until 7:20 today and then ds came into our room and climbed into bed. He told me I was so cute and that he loved me. I lounged with him until 8 while DH made coffee. Hopefully that means we will have a great day! DH is off until Monday, so so excited and happy to have him here.
I haven't bought a single christmas present yet. Anybody else?
I bought my first one yesterday morning, and that was only because it was on my co-worker's desk and I was like, "hey, I think DH would like that too." I have given really zero thought to what anyone is getting. I'm feeling vaguely panicked.
I have work I should be doing today but am exhausted and no one is here. Soooo we will see how productive things end up being.
So I've gone from only making a pumpkin pie tonight to making a pecan pie and pumpkin dip tonight and some sides tomorrow morning.
I kinda want to make more than that because I don't think there's going to be enough food for everyone. All I know is that H's uncle ordered two meals through a grocery store (ham and turkey) and they come with mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, creamed corn, and stuffing. It needs to feed 14.
I'm having pumpkin cheesecake for breakfast. I made it on Monday and had too much batter, so I added it to muffin tins for single serve sizes. DELICIOUS and I regret nothing.
I got my day 21 progesterone results - excellent! So hopefully today's day 3 draw looks good. I'm getting my hopes up for a post HSG BFP (the HSG is Monday, and I should ovulate on Thursday).

It's 7am and DD is still sleeping (paci replacement around 1230am and feeding wake up at 215am). She usually wakes for the day around 6-630am. So I've been putting off taking a shower thinking she's going to wake up any minute. Good thing my boss said to take it easy coming back to work this week because I'm definitely not going to be on time. The older kids not having school this week has also been helpful becuase I don't have to get them ready in the morning either since my mom has been coming to my house to watch the kids. They've just stayed in their pj's most of the day.

I'm having a healthy breakfast of eggs and sauteed spinach and then I'll mosey my way into work. I feel very relaxed! I'll probably leave work early to go to Michael's and the library and then I'm planning on going to my mom's tonight in case we get snow tomorrow. The best part about staying there is that she always lets me go back to bed when DS wakes up.
I think it's time to say goodbye to my maternity jeans. I can fit into about half of my pre-pregnancy jeans now, and the maternity ones just fall down. *sniff* I'm sad, they're so comfortable!
Oh yea. Day 5 of my cold now and I feel like death warmed over. I'm getting worse, not better.

@starry - all 3 of my kids have pooped a ton as newborns/young infants.
DD has a poopy diaper when she woke up at 715am. And then she just pooped again while nursing (she my post above). She's 3 months old tomorrow and poops at least 6 times a day. No food issues. No reflux or any fussiness besides general baby overtired fussing.
Well my "fun family days" this week are 0-2 Yesterday we were supposed to drive to DH's office, see his coworkers (DS's favorite part), and have lunch together. Well DH got stuck in a meeting so the kids and I tooled around the Target near his office. DD pooped through her clothes, DS pitched a colossal fit. DH came in the middle of the fray and we had a rushed lunch at Red Robin. DS cried the whole hour drive home that he wanted "to see daddy's office and I miss daddy!" Today we were supposed to go to my parents house to take care of their cats while they're on vacation. I had proposed we wander around their quaint downtown and have lunch afterwards. DH decided it was "not fun" to take both kids out to eat, and he wanted to come straight home after caring for the cats. I was mad so I pitched a fit and took DD home "for a nap" and sent DH and DS. So much for a fun family day, blah.

What is mpi? DD1 was the same way but a miserable child whereas Dd2 is average.
