How weird. I went there once for emergency underwear ( I felt like I didn't pack enough once I landed in London), but I only think of M&S as a grocery store. I know it's more than that, but it doesn't automatically click.
Their clothes are always amazing and I don't know if I owned underwear not from M & S before moving abroad. Not sure any English women do! Lol

Are the clothes better than Monsoon? I did enjoy the M&S underwear! It's one of the few clothing items I purchased in London that trip. Everything else I purchased in Paris and Rome, because the dollar was stronger there.
I think Monsoon is better, but it is different. M&S is every day kind of stuff, I think Monsoon is a little fancier.

Yes, I agree with that. Monsoon is better for dresses, work stuff, and beach stuff. M&S are clothing staples and fabulous tights.
How have I never heard of this place? I kind of love it. Can someone set an expectation as to quality? Old Navy? gap? Hanna?
It's a British department store. Better than old navy.
I've been super impressed with everything from there. Their tights are my absolute favorite. My riding boots from there lasted several years of hard wear. Love them.
I'm tempted. We moved back from the UK this year and my kids are still wearing a lot of M&S. I like their onesie/bodysuit patterns and they're good quality.
But the CDN dollar is very weak to the pound right now. 2 to 1. Aghh!! Makes me wish DH was still earning in GBP.
