Sorry starry. Sounds like growth spurt so hopefully this doesn't continue.
We're on wakeup 2. I don't know how to get DS back down when he wakes motn without nursing. I don't think he needs to eat every 2 hours but he's omg hangry and just ramps up without it. Sleep training is going to be a bear I think with him.
I'm sorry:( I hope you can get some more sleep soon!
This is wakeup #1. DD slept for 8+ hours but I barely slept as I had a total melt down about going back to work in two weeks. I hysterically cried and couldn't sleep. I'm so anxious about it:( I finally got to bed just before midnight.
I've been up with the stomach bug since 10:45. At least I got an hour of sleep before that started? Thankfully my husband decided not to head out to hunt last night, or he would be an hour away and its supposed to be icy today.
Wake up #1 here after about 5 hours. Last night she slept 10.5 hours but tonight we are at 5. She's so inconsistent. She napped a ton yesterday, so I guess that whole "sleep begets sleep" thing isn't true for tonight.
DS slept for the first 90 minutes of our road trip yesterday, which meant no nap during his usual nap time. Then, he had lots of wild fun being the only child at thanksgiving. He was the center of attention and one of my aunts decided she was going to become his favorite by giving him all kinds of junk food. We finally got back to the hotel at 10 last night. He's sleeping ok, but we've had 2 wake ups in 5 hours. I'm having a hard time because it's just so quiet in this hotel room. I must need ambient noise to sleep. The pillows are too squishy and I'm just flopping around listening to every peep out of DS in the adjacent sitting area of our hotel room. He just rolled over his talking Elmo toy, damnit! That better not wake him up again.
The toddler is asleep but I'm up. Asleep in my bed that is. We came home so late she was not going to sleep in her crib. We need to transition her to something, not sure yet what that will be.
Worst night ever since DD was a newborn. I can't remember if we were up 3 or 4 times last night. I don't think her ear infection has gone away. Luckily, we are able to get in at 8 this morning.
I don't know what to do with a 5am wake up. Does she think she'd up for the day?
I made DH try the peci and rocking to get her back to sleep, but it was a no go. Do now it'd 530am and I'm nursing her swaddled, hoping she'll fall asleep and sleep another hour or 2.
So annoying. Just sleep until at least 6am baby, then we can at least consider being up for the day.

Dammit this is Nathan. Up at 5 or so, which I guess is better than his previous 4am. Baby was up at 1am and 5am. So snnoying
@starry I'm glad you got some sleep. Your poor boobs
That was us too. Up at 1 and 5am. I managed to get her back to sleep from 545-630am. But now we are up. So tired...

@starry - glad you got some rest preppy - sorry you are so anxious
DS gave us our first true long stretch of sleep last night. He is coming up on six weeks old and until the last few nights, he slept in 3 hour increments and was up at 1 and 4, or 2 and 5 depending on when he last ate. It was like clockwork and I haven't slept more than three hours the whole six weeks (DH splits the weekend wake ups but I always hear him). Two nights ago one of his stretches went to 4 hours. Last night he was down from 11pm to 4:45am. It was incredible. Pray it wasn't a fluke!
