So far I haven't found anything too great online and I'm not bothering to venture out. I was hoping to find a rug I loved at Rugsusa since they're 80% off, but nothing struck my fancy.
Actually just got this rug. It's only 5'x8' and possibly the wrong colors, but for $50 I'm taking a risk that maybe it'll work somewhere.
I ordered a pressure cooker and a couple of DVDs from Amazon. The only place I'm venturing out to is Home Depot. And that's only because I bought the wrong hinges for the cabinets so I had to order new ones (which, of course, aren't in stock at the nearest store so I have to drive out of town to get them). I'm hoping that Home Depot isn't a super popular BF stop, because people are crazy and I don't want to deal with them. lol.

I just got a few things from Carter's so far. Haven't had time to really look since we didn't get back until about 9 last night and I'm working all day. Maybe I'll wait for Mon... hmm.
I went to kohl's, Macy's, JCPenney, and Gap. I only bought a pair of earrings for my mom, but picked out some stuff for her to buy for me and H.
I was supposed to meet friends for lunch today, but they flaked out and I am annoyed. H and I are going to go alone I guess, which is fine, but I hate trying to initiate plans. Whenever it doesn't work I take it personally.
I ordered a 49" tv from Best Buy and the 7" Fire Tablet from Amazon for $35! I'm really excited about the tablet because I don't even have a smartphone.

They just opened a location near me. I've been curious, but worried if I go in I'll buy too much sugar. How do I get a freebie? Haha
The free coupon was one that was mailed to us with coupons for the entire Naperville stripmall. I know they have a club, that will send you a freebie one for your birthday so sign up online! But the bundtlets are a nice size. Our neighbors bought us a three pack when we moved in and we cut eat one in fourths so that we could sample each one. The bundtini's are even more of a perfect size, but I think those only come by the dozen.

I saw one of those cake places on our way to my parents recently I think. Hmm where was it? Or maybe it was a billboard? I remember H commenting on the name, lol. Too bad it's not closer!

DH went to target last night and got several things - razor scooter, kick and play piano, electric toothbrushes, portable DVD player for road trips, I forget what else.
We all went this morning and got gifts for our niece and nephew
Our target is kinda off the beaten path and was not that busy last night or this morning, which was really nice. Plus they goofed up our Starbucks order and didn't charge me for my drink - score!
We went to Ihop for breakfast to use my free Rooty tooty fresh and fruity pancakes coupon.
We usually go out on black Friday but with H being out of work we don't want to spend much money until his short term disability checks start coming in. It sucks too because home depot had a great price on a few things I wanted to get H for Christmas.

Since my in-laws knocked on our bedroom door at 7am to say they were leaving (car was already packed, etc.), H and I decided to venture out to the outlets after lunch to get out of the house. He got a jacket and some shirts for work. I'd been wanting a nice backpack for work/travel and found one at Tumi that he got for my Christmas present. Now he and R are napping and I might be shopping online at Carters.
amaranth - you now have me checking out the rug sale. am i a moron, or is there a way to search for round rugs? i could be missing it.
No you're not a moron. They don't have a search by size function from the main screen. It's awful. However once you select a style category, on the left hand side you can I believe narrow by round then. If they aren't including enogh results you can eliminate some previous criteria but keep the desired size specification. I've spent clearly too much time on their site to know this... Lol.

No true BF shopping but for some reason every year H and I end up needing to go to the store for something....in hindsight it is never something that couldn't wait....this year it was a soldering iron. Don't ask.

I did not go shopping, some of DH's family members went and invited me but it's basically my idea of hell. Plus I couldn't bring anything back in my suitcase unless it was super small, so watching other people buy stuff is not fun.
I really need a new pair of brown dress boots so I'm going to browse online the next few days and see what I can find
