Spending- I hope to stay within budget on Christmas gifts. I hope to not spend more then $400 on everyone on my list except for H. My budget for H's gifts will be $200. H doesn't want a birthday party now so instead I am using half what I budgeted for that to take him out wine tasting for a day and to get a few bottles of wine he likes. The other half I added to his Christmas gift budget.
H&F- I would like to get more workouts in. I have been having difficulty finding time to workout. It seems whenever I plan on working out that's when my pager goes off or someone needs my right then. Then my workout doesn't happen. I also need to cut down on my portion sizes. I was thinking of trying to not count calories this month and just watch what I eat and eat smaller portions and see how I do.
My sister are fighting so our family Christmas in a few weeks should be interesting. I think my one sister isn't coming so maybe it will be peaceful but the other one will just sit there and bitch about her anyways. I am hosting Christmas day at my house and so far it's only us, my mom, sil, bil and 2 nieces. Lets see if my mom invites anyone else. We may invite a few people over for dessert on Christmas from the fire house.
I also need to find ways to cheer H up. He's getting depressed because he really can't do anything because of his back. He's gaining weight because he isn't really moving from the couch so I need to find things to get him moving but where he can take breaks when needed. He feels bad because he thinks he is holding me back when we go places which he isn't. I feel so bad for him because he feels helpless and he is usually the strong one. So one of my goals is to try an cheer him up.

My goal is just to survive. I hate this time of year so much stress.
other goals include: standing my ground about the crap with my sister. I'm hosting Christmas this year for the first time ever and she is not invited at all in any way shape or form. Honestly I kinda hopes she goes to my parents house and finds it dark with no one home wondering where they are with her kid. (spiteful much?)
not fighting with h while decorating/shopping
cleaning / cooking something awesome
keeping the kids out of the decorations
buy something AWESOME for DH
Have a merry Christmas despite all of the dysfunction.
-pick up more shifts at work. (Started with 3 and now I'm up to 6 already. I need 10 to make me relax a little more.)
-start on our kitchen/bath renos. We would love to have them done by the end of January.
-sit down again and set up a budget. (And actually follow it.)
-buy DH a Christmas gift, it's the only gift left to buy as DH already bought mine.
-start organizing the house, room by room, to try and get rid of everything we don't need.
- once we figure out all the renos that we will be doing I want to figure out a timeline to be done and a time line for us to move out and rent this place out. (Also figure out where we are moving too)
Deep Clean the laundry room and windows....and anything else I can get my hands on.
Christmas shop for DH's family. He is all gun ho to shop for them, gets two presents in and wants to take a break from shopping. We then order the rest of the gifts from Amazon It's a ritual
Dust the house De-clutter the house Call around for cheaper car insurance rates Set up new TV! Meal plan each week Eat more fruits and veggies Wrap gifts Try to limit my online shopping - I went a little nuts this weekend
I have a lot but with my schedule it will be easier to have One Goal which is; accomplish 1 productive thing a day. It can be small or big, but I feel this is a realistic goal! December 1st - December 20th (we leave for vaca on the 21st)
