DH just uploaded the two pro pics I am using in our Xmas cards to his Facebook. I'm not gonna say anything because I don't want a stupid argument but grrr.
My mom posted one of the pics I put on my xmas card to FB, I called her and asked her to take it down! She totally understood and did it right away. You should ask him, I don't think it's at all unreasonable to want those pics to be a surprise on the card.
We did our Christmas card and family photos today. We went to Picture People and overall it went well. I'm kinda mad about the fact that we made a 1:00 appointment and then had to wait until almost 1:30 to actually get in because the family before us went over. Then we ended up having a pretty quick session and not a full hour because DD wasn't super happy (I think she would have been fine if we went in on time, she was freshly fed after a nap before we left the house). But overall I'm glad we got our first photos together and they look pretty good.
We are still eating Thanksgiving leftovers tonight -- we went to DH's grandparents' house and took home leftovers, and then he also bought and made a turkey breast and more potatoes because he wasn't expecting to take home leftovers, so we have double as much as we probably need.
We gave DD her first food yesterday - pureed sweet potatoes - she did really well and even though she made some funny faces she ate a few spoonfuls. We fed her some more today and again went pretty well. I didn't expect her to be ready so soon, but our ped said she was ok at her 4 month check up, so we decided to try it out.
Now I'm relaxing with some cookies and milk and deciding whether I want to hand address my Christmas cards or not.

Yeah have him take it down. He can always put it up later after a reasonable amount of time for people to receive the cards in the mail. I'm so tempted to post ours but I will wait until at least a week after I get them in the mail. Not unreasonable at all!
DH always complains when I get my hair done. He gets $10 haircuts and complains every time about how he hates his hair cut, so I say it's worth the price (most of the time).
I have a man cold. I haven't had a cold this bad in a long time.
I'm also mad at mil over stupid petty stuff. But I'm sick and it's putting me over the top. Totally not in the frame of mind to handle family crap right now.
I say it evens out. I get my hair cut and brows waxed every 6-8 weeks for about $80 total. H gets $35 cuts every 2-3 weeks. This is the first time I've colored my hair professionally in 2 years!

We had a Friendsgiving tonight that was a lot of fun.
I did, however, have a salty moment. I had A on my lap along with their daughter and the husband gives me the whole "oh, that looks so good, how does it feel?" with a wink. Well, if we both were GS-13s or whatever they are, the Paragard would have already been pulled! So annoyed.
DH went to the store and got me milk duds. Now I'm cuddled on the couch watching A Christmas Detour on Hallmark channel and eating them. It's a cheesy Hallmark movie and I love it, no shame here.
Two New York City-bound travelers find themselves inextricably linked when a snowstorm reroutes them to an airport hotel in Buffalo. Ever the eternal optimist and hopeless romantic, Paige desperately needs to find a way back home to meet her fiancee’s parents before her forthcoming wedding. And it’s somehow up to fellow passenger Dylan MacKenzie, who is permanently soured on romance following a recent heartbreak. Yet Dylan somehow rises to the occasion to become Paige’s chivalrous helpmate. The pair are joined on this misadventure by an older couple named Frank and Maxine trying to get to Connecticut. As their madcap journey ensues, our foursome will find plenty of surprises in store.
So my home spa night was a success - mud mask, neutrogena microdermabrasion scrub, brightening cloth mask, followed up by serum, as well as eyebrow styling and a manicure! It's amazing how much prettier I feel now. Next weekend I am going to focus on my feet, lol!!
I bought a contouring kit today, now I have to use YouTube to figure out how to use it!

I mean how can this NOT be an excellent movie?!
My H and unabashedly watch Hallmark Channel Christmas movies all December.
I just had to lie to a grocery checker and say that @starry's husband was my husband because she was throwing shade at the name on the formula check not matching my name.
I was like "um P is my husband. I didn't change my name when we got married (glare) (hair toss)" and then she put them through for me.
Hope that's okay. You can tell him he inherited a second wife over $20 in coupons tonight.

I'm getting a $200 cut and color on Monday, and I always feel so bad about it when I tell people that's how much it is. I only go 3 times a year but still! I just always feel so much better with fresh color and cut. Maybe next time I'll try a new stylist.
We bought a new car today (Mazda CX9). I am exhausted from all the negotiating, even though DH took care of the hard stuff. Now it's time for wine and Master of None!
She did alternating layers of a "true red" and a golden blonde so it looks kind of coppery, with some auburn thrown in too. I didn't really ask. I trust her!
Ugh he's up again not 20min later. We didn't give him the nighttime gripe water today so maybe that is it. I'm nursing him & he doesn't seem that hungry.
C is 28 months and I just pulled the trigger on ordering his first year photo book from Shutterfly. I finished laying it out about a month or so ago, but was waiting for a good deal to buy it.
I also picked up a few photo mugs with pictures of the boys to give to H's dad and stepmom, who we don't usually do anything major for at Christmas. An $11 gift for them is better than nothing!
Now that we're sleep training DS and cutting out nighttime feeds, DH is on baby duty until 3am (since I won't feed before 3, he doesn't need it). I might actually sleep well tonight. I just hope I haven't already caught DS's pinkeye, since I wasn't super careful this morning before his eyes started swelling.
