Every single Friday that I see her, my grandma says "it's Friday, our favourite day!" so that's all I can think about whenever anyone says that it's Friday.
I might be going to the fabric store this afternoon with my mom, but she and my dad are coming over regardless. I've been on a sewing kick the last few days.
Tomorrow there's a Santa Claus parade that we might go to, but we're definitely going to decorate for Christmas.
Sunday I'm going to Ikea with my mom and sister. It will be nice to have a girls' day, it's been a long time!
Going grocery shopping tonight so I can deep clean some areas in the house tomorrow. DH has a show Saturday night so I'll head into music town for that.
I have a bunch of errands to run today and while I'm out I'm also going to go a little shopping, I really need a pair of jeans and new brown dress boots, neither of which I've had luck finding. I have to bake a pumpkin bread and wrap my niece's gifts. Tomorrow we're going to my brother & SIL's house for my niece's birthday party, we're going early so we can help get set up but also to spend some extra time with her before everyone else gets there! We're staying overnight (it's about a 3 hour drive each way) but I think we're going to try and get home at a decent time on Sunday so we can go get our Christmas tree.
We got our Christmas decorations out from storage last night but only got about half setup since we don't have the tree yet. So basically it's just created more clutter at this point. But we lit some candles so at least it smells like a tree!
Later this afternoon we're driving an hour to an indoor waterpark resort. We're going with my BFF and her family. DS and her DD will have a blast, and I'm hoping for some fun boardgames after they go to bed each night. We'll be there tonight through Sunday sometime.
I know it doesn't count as the weekend, but DH is working from home on Monday so that he can come with me to the ob/gyn. I'm getting an ultrasound and my first NST. Hoping baby A has flipped to be head-down or we may be scheduling a c-section.
I'm currently on hold with my insurance company disputing a charge. I hope they address it quickly!
This weekend we have some errands to run and cleaning to do, as usual. And hopefully we will finish the saga of the old tv and H will get it out of the house!
We are going to Sam's tomorrow to stock up on a few things. Then ILs are coming over to bring a ladder so H can put our Christmas lights up! Sun we are doing a friend's Thanksgiving so that will be fun!
Today is a great day! The weather is beautiful, I got my hair cut and my mustache threaded (both long overdue), and I'm going to bake some desserts for a baby shower on Sunday.
We went to Sam's and grocery shopping this morning. Later I plan on decorating outside. I got real pine garland and I love smelling it lol. I'm trying to get tickets for a wine event Sunday. I didn't realize that they stopped selling tickets yesterday so I sent an email asking if they will still sell me a ticket. Fingers crossed.
Yay for Friday! I don't have any specific plans but I can't wait to sleep in a bit and relax! I hope to finish up some outdoor decorating and clean my house. Also, I still need to see Mockingjay! Maybe we will do that this weekend.
DH and I had eye appointments this morning. I am testing our contacts again. Just saying - if I get contacts I'm gonna need to get my eyebrows waxed more often and find some undereye concealer or some sort. Anyone have any recommendations?
We went to lunch afterwards. Came home and MIL had folded laundry and left it on my bed (awesome!)
As MIL was leaving my mom and gma showed up. Gma folded a basket of clothes while my mom washed all my dishes and I vaccuumed the whole house. G was just wandering around between the three of us. It was fantastic. I have so much done now!
G went straight down for a (hopefully long) nap and I'm relaxing with a bit of internet browsing and a cup of decaf coffee.
Thanx ladies. The worst part is that it was nothing to do with TTC/my losses, and it's everything else. It just seems like my world is on the verge of crumbling around me.
