Has it been properly refrigerated the whole time? I'd probably be ok making a grilled cheese out of it.
Yes.
This is exactly what I want to do with it!!
8 days, @starlily !
If there was mold or fuzz, this thread would not exist. Come on, people!
No best by date, but I've read you are supposed to eat deli meat and cheese within 5 days. We never had meat or cheese beyond 5 days when DS was at home.
You know, for people so conservative with cash, MM sure does like to play fast and loose with gastrointestinal matters. Well, it's this or oatmeal, so I guess I'm having a grilled cheese!
OMG, of course I'd eat it. It's deli cheese. I second the PP who asked if this is even real cheese. If it's processed cheese food, this isn't even worth a second glance.

OMG, really? Been refrigerated the whole time? No question, I'd eat it. I fed week old cheese to my 10 month old last week (and myself) and she's fine! Mother of the year, clearly.
We need the dairy farmer gal on MMM to weigh in here, but I forget her screen name. Obviously, it's dairy something...
A: ate it and were fine B: ate it and got massive runs C: ate it and ended up at the ER d: ate it and died e: didn't eat it, you yellow livered chickenshit
I have cheese in my fridge that's at least 3 weeks older than that and is still fine. Dairy is pretty good at letting your know when it's bad. If cheese isn't moldy and smells okay, I eat it.
I had a coupon for 32 ounces of sliced cheese. LOL to being able to eat it in a week. I eat it until I see mold, then I toss it.
Deli cheese is somewhat processed. It's most likely aged, as well. It takes 6 months+ to make hard cheese. Cheese, historically, was a way to preserve milk. (Sausage was a way to preserve meat, too.) It lasts much longer than fresh milk or cream.
