E's big gift this year is a karaoke machine. She wants to be a pop star when she grows up. lol.
She is also getting a matching girl-doll AG outfit and some other AG stuff, the Lego Friends pop star stage, a personalized beach towel, charms for her Gap charm bracelet, and a set of 1 lb. dumbbells because she likes to pretend to work out with me. And books even though she just ended up with $100 worth of B&N gift cards from her birthday.
K is only 5 but she's getting a new bike because the one she rode all spring and summer is two or three sizes too small, whoops.
My 8yo got a large bird feeder setup (stand with multiple branches and different types of feeders). With a journal sketchbook and binoculars. (She just got this for her bday last week)
Her big gift is a karaoke/microphone that is compatible with her iPod. I am certain I will regret this but also sure she'll love it.
She is also getting: Sled Target American Girl clothes Duct tape Sticker maker PJs Mal's Spell Book Voice Password journal Hair accessories Lots of lip glosses and balms, Eos lotion and bath bombs Puzzle Eagles shirt
Oh, she got one of those Alex scrapbook kits for her birthday and was pretty psyched about it. But her two favorite birthday gifts from friends were: m.target.com/p/password-journal-8/-/A-14421371
This is the one we got for DD. If anyone is interested it is 50% off with Cartwheel right now
This year...Lego Elves sets, AG doll bed, a Playmobil camper, a Barbie, a nice purse, a Swatch...that's all I can remember. I have 4 girls, they literally have or have had every girl thing you could imagine...there are still unopened things from last year. I'm trying to focus on more of stuff they already like/use (Legos, AG, etc).

DD1 is almost 10. She's not getting a big Santa gift, but her uncle bought her the Lego Elves Castle (which is bigger than anything Santa is bringing). We also signed her up for ski club which isn't cheap so that's part of her Christmas/birthday present.
Other things she's getting - art set and sketch pad, Harry Potter box set, Minecraft stop animation studio, Justice clothes/gift card, and Monster High dolls. We're giving all the kids a basketball hoop for outside, and I think she'll be excited about that.
Why is everyone suddenly getting duct tape for Xmas?
Is this the new ratchet set?
It comes in a ton of prints and colors so people use it for decorating or making things like wallets or bracelets I think lol.
I'm getting her a blanket, some books because she loves reading, a movie she likes and a doll or two. She likes my little pony right now/equestria girls which I'm not as fond of.

THIS (re: duct tape). If she likes being crafty at all: duct tape (designs and/or kits), loom knitting kits (with yarn or a craft store GC so she can choose her own) and home science kits. At least a third of my GS troop loves duct tape, and any time I pull out my collection I get mobbed.
GD1 is getting a camera and a Roominate set as bigger gifts. GD2 is getting a Girl Scout oven and accessories and skate board (long board). Both will be getting nice jewelry boxes to replace their little girl ones and miscellaneous odds and ends to unwrap.
I have this on DDs list after someone here recommended it. I was already done shopping for her and don't want to keep picking things up, I am hoping someone gets it for her between her birthday next week and Christmas. I think she'd love it
Shopkins....Shopkins...Shopkins. AG accessories/clothes, a science/experiment kit, and she asked for a typewriter...lol. MIL got her Legos and Twister.
