The kid really wanted a Zoomer kitty this year, so that is what she is getting. She's 4. We also got her a indoor/outdoor tent and sleeping bag-so not big ticket but big.

A castle for Kit and a car ramp for Ender are our two big presents. My parents got Kit an AG doll, and Ender a Leap Pad. H's parents got the kids a bunch of smaller presents for Hanukkah.
This year C is getting the Wii U, mainly because it is something we can all enjoy and he's getting to a good age for the younger games (he loves Mario Kart, DH wants to do Lego Dimensions), not because it's our normal gift budget. Santa's gift will be a Power Ranger Megazord. Normally, it's around $75-$100, things like Trackmaster sets, kitchen set when he was a toddler, nice Lego set, last year was the Batbot.
DS's big gifts this year are a Little Tykes basketball hoop and a marble maze. Last year we went all out and got him a toy rocket set that he barely played with so we're going for things that just look big but were on super sale at Target. All he's asked Santa for this year is marbles and candy so I think he'll be thrilled.
I found a vintage Samantha AG doll and some accessories and that's the Santa gift. Maybe some sort of Princess Leia toy if we can find it (She's hard to find) because she's under the impression that Santa will be bringing her this.
From us I'm not sure yet. She's fairly obsessed with watching unboxing videos on YouTube of Disney Magic clip princesses. So I think we will get her some of those. And maybe a Lego princess castle.

We got a wooden swing set from Toys R Us on black friday. It was delivered yesterday, and all of the boxes are hiding under tarps in the garage. It will take me forever to build it. My parents and ILs chipped in too.
Scarlett asked for a karaoke machine. I also have some bigger AG pieces I bought on sale (desk, locker). Most of the things she wants are smaller items though.
Jackson has asked for Skylanders, and if we got him a bunch of guys to go with it, it'd be a big gift. But I think we are going to get him this robot thing you can program with an app. I think he'd also like that bb8 thing that works with an app but it's pretty pricey and I'm not sure he'd love it. It's like $150.
BoyLiu is getting talking Hulk & stuffed Chopper. I might get him the blue care Bear too since he specifically asked for it.
BabyLiu is getting a Sadness & stuffed BB8. If I can find it I'll get her the book with the fairy that has her name. She's getting all of the Disney princesses in Barbie form from my sister so she's good.
From Santa, A wants* "presents". And of course that's what J wants too. A and I walked by a store window a few weeks ago and he picked out a Calico Critters dollhouse, so they're each getting that and a talking stuffed animal and the IKEA play tent/tunnels. Nothing expensive, but there will be lots of stuff wrapped from Santa (which apparently was my failure last year), and that will be "big" to them.
The thing I'm learning is that what a preschooler imagines Christmas morning will be like and what I think it should be in my head are two different things. They don't know how much it costs.
From us, Disney on Ice tickets. Mickey Mouse pjs/slippers. And books, including a customized ABC book for J from Pint Sized Productions (we made A one at the same age, and lately J thinks all the pictures are him).
*of course this week, suddenly A has decided he does want something specific, after weeks and weeks of saying nothing but "presents". And it's a $150 tube/tunnel/ball maze thing he saw in a catalog once. Sorry kid.

I'd like to get DD the American Girl Samantha bed. She's only 4 but it's the only expensive thing she wants and I know she'd use it.
Her other gifts are some Doc McStuffins toys, Disney Princess dress ups ($7 on Black Friday!), grandpa is getting her Lincoln Logs, and we got her a bike I'm 80% sure she won't ride.

Thank you - I just found his birthday present. End of January so we will be toyed out.
For Christmas his big item is a KidKraft kitchen. The smaller stuff is a Mickey Mouse doll, books, puzzles.
We are doing two big items this year- a wardrobe for her dresses (that actually won't be expensive...less than $50 since we are making most of it) and a dollhouse. DD is 4.
Other than that we are doing smaller gifts- barbies, dress up clothes, maybe a few small things for her AG bitty baby that I can shove in her stocking.

DS1 is 10 and is getting a laptop with a gaming mouse (so my DH doesn't have to share his laptop anymore..lol!) DS2 is 5 and is getting an iPad mini and a Step2 art desk
