I'm struggling with what to get for the child care workers at the gym. There are several and not always the same people there. I don't even know how many there really are. We started going this year and it was lane's first time in a group child care situation. They were so patient with him flipping out and and now now with E beings newborn. In this situation I would typically make a couple dozen cupcakes but... the gym. Lol. Any ideas? $20-30ish?
Are they teenagers? Can you give them $5 cash each without breaking the bank?
I don't think I'm doing a gift, because there are like 18 different teenagers, and I can't put an envelope of $5 bills with a note that says "only take one if you work 8am-11am on saturdays" lol.
I would think food is a great gift. It's easy/cheap to do for a group of people and you wouldn't need to worry about getting something for all the child care workers individually.

They are actually adults- moms that use the gym too, have a background in child care. I have be same problem with not knowing how many there are and who all is there most often when we are. It sounds like food might be okay then! I will probably make cupcakes! (I live in an affluent area and will make them Pinterest-y, it's okay).
I plan to give them Christmas cards and a thank you note in it, but they have only been watching him for about two months now.
Last year at one gym where the daycare ladies rotated their days I gave them each a $5 Starbucks GC and a thank you Christmas card. At the other gym with more consistent staff I brought in muffins and juice for breakfast.

We really only seem to encounter the same lady and we decided today to give her a handmade card by dd and a $10 Tim Hortons coffee card. I'm Assuming they are allowed to accept gifts.

My original idea was Starbucks/Dunkin gift cards, but since I don't really know how many there are I had to ditch that. Boo. I will definitely have Lane make a card though!
