One of DS2's daycare buddies was diagnosed with pink eye this morning. I noticed DS2's eye was a little crusty this morning and now it looks like it may be starting to get goopy. I can either take him to urgent care tonight, pedi in the morning, or I have a tube of abx that were DS1's that I could use. My only hesitation is I'm not sure if it's okay to share a tube of eye ointment. I really don't want this to spread!

Urgent care, or call to the pedi's office. Is DS2 over 1? My pedi will call in abx for pink eye for babies over the age of 1, which is awesome.
Don't share eye drops. Super risky and not worth it. I'd throw out the leftovers if I were you, because I don't think I'd even want to use them on the same kid again for risk of recontaminating with a different virus or something.
