I need a new covered saute pan or a deep skillet. Looking for something large & non stick. I also need a griddle pan. These are the ones I'm looking at but I'm open to other suggestions. Budget $100 for the saute pan & $50 for the griddle.

We have that Calphalon griddle, and I love it. All of my stuff is Calphalon bc we have a family hookup, but just know that Simply Calphalon is their lower end line. Not sure how fancy of a cook you are, if that matters to you or not.
I don't like using non-stick cookware for all purposes. Are you specifically looking for non-stick recs? If so, I love my all clad NS omelette pans (8" and 10").
For everyday cooking, I like calphalon tri-ply SS.
Eta - I bought the all clad pans as a set for ~$60 at BBB.
I will gladly sell you our Calphalon griddle (I think it's Calphalon, I'll check when I get home). It's almost new, we've only used it a handful of times and now that we have a Cuisinart Griddler, we just don't use it.
Otherwise we really, really like our Analon pots and pans.

My MIL has a simpy Calphalon pan and I hate it. It's non stick except everything sticks to it.
Boo! Good to know though. I've never cooked on simply Calphalon, and I am by no means fancy. The biggest thing I've noticed in the store is the simply Calphalon is so light in comparison.
I just edited my post, the first pan is the Calphalon Contemporary not the Simply Calphalon. Does that make a difference?
I don't think you can go wrong with any of those. I think I'd prefer a glass lid over the SS, but in actual cooking, it would probably just get steamed up anyway, so it's not like you'd really use it to look at the food, if that makes sense.

DH has specifically requested something non-stick with a lid. I don't think he necessarily cares what material as long as it has the same effect as a non-stick. The pan would be primarily used for making scrambled eggs, stir fry & browning ground beef. We have SS skillets but never use them because he hates cleaning them. And let's be honest, if he's willing to clean them I'm not going to argue
The rest of our pots are SS, but cleaning is not an issue because we're cooking pasta, soup, etc in them so it wipes right out.
@mrswindycity - tagging you because this answers your question about we'll use the pan to cook.
I would get a cast iron skillet instead of a grill pan. Lodge Logic makes a really affordable one (around $20). We've had ours for over 10 years and it makes amazing pancakes, grilled cheese, quesadillas, etc.

I hear you! My recommendation for the all clad stands. Before we moved and realized our new stove is induction, we used calphalon contemporary 10" and 12" NS fry pans and really liked them. I like the All Clad slightly better.
Looks like calphalon set is $49.99 at BBB and the all clad is $59.99. I don't think you can go wrong with either. IIRC, both have lifetime warranties, too.
We got rid of our Calphalon, it didn't last and we didn't like it. Replaced it with a cast iron skillet and an Emeril all-clad set. I think the set was around $300 but it's awesome!!
I have the first Calphalon Contemporary pan that you linked. I love it. It is my go to for browning ground meat and stir fry, etc. I have used mine for years and it looks new. In fact my entire Calphalon Contemporary set that I got for my 2007 wedding has held up great. I do baby them. No dish washer. Only wooden or plastic spoons. I would highly recommend!
No recs on a griddle. I don't cook enough to ever use one!
