Anybody have a good recommendation for a nursing nightgown or sleep shirt that they've liked?
While pregnant I've been sleeping in a t-shirt and underwear, because yoga pants have been too hot to sleep in at night. I usually throw my pants in the morning before leaving the bedroom because we have a big picture window that's usually partially open and/or SS is there. I anticipate that I'll continue to be pretty hot when I'm postpartum, so while I could just sleep in a nursing bra and tank and throw pants on the in the morning, it would be nice to have a longer sleep shirt or nightgown type thing to be able to walk around the house in. Anyone used one that they've liked?
I always liked button-front PJs for nursing b/c I could just unbutton a few buttons and not worry about DD getting lost in the shirt if I had to hike it up like a regular shirt. I got a pair at Target that was long sleeves on top but shorts on the bottom, that would be good for post-partum heat.
I was no longer super hot while postpartum/breastfeeding.
I bought light weight capri pjs from Kohls which are excellent because 1. They have pockets. Critical when carrying around a baby and his crap 2. Not floor length which I would trip over. And have. Falling down the stairs and injuring myself.
I sleep with a stretchy nursing bra and a tank or tee. And I keep a fleece open cardigan thing by my bed to toss on when I get out of bed.
I also have one "bump in the night one" from a few years ago that's super comfy. I wear a long sleeve over it at night- the combination keeps my stomach warm when I am up nursing in the middle of the night.
